Only gotten through the first few tutorial missions.
Seems like it has good potential. Still struggling to get my head around the fact that the jump button is mapped only to the shoulder buttons.
Also, Roger Craig Smith can only do one voice and it's very annoying. (Chris Redfield should only be in a certain zombie series).

Been playing it a few hours, so far it exceeds my expectations. I hate Zombie games. Everyone said this is going to be good so I avoided it instinctively, lol. Then yesterday I took the dive and got it. It really surprised me. I love it so far. Easily 8/10 so far!

How far in are you now?
Right now im about 20 hours in, still only 30% of story, taking my time. Just yesterday me and my friend just went to the highway bridge to slaughter what felt like a million zombies. Good loot, good exp. I'm really loving it! But before I bought it, I was SO defending against picking it up, god I'd have been stupid..
Are you playing it besides your "review duties" ?

Just wanted to see if anyone has an news as to Techland's plans to fix trophy glitches in the game. As a trophy hunter, I am very bummed to see such incompletion in the game. Depending on forums, it seems more trophies than not are glitched for some if not all players. I have yet to come by any statements for Techland, so if anyone reads anything on the topic, please keep us informed and I will do the same!
Next month we'll get The Following DLC and the Enhanced Edition. I'll buy the latter one physical since I've never played DL and all the content will be on disc. Hope Pushsquare will review both, but I noticed the game is not in the upcoming list!
@iDangerMouse_: How did you like the game? On the official site they say that the Enhanced Edition will have new changes and improvements, not only those included with the pathces. I'm not really into all the parkour thing, but it seems that the gameplay is pretty customizable...
I did not know what to expect when I got this game I liked zombies and free running can be fun in games. This game is a lot of fun to play and the night/daytime means you really have to be adaptable. There are genuine heart racing moments.
I am only halfway through stopped playing it a little while ago as I got into other games.Ii would like to finish it just before the DLC comes out this year. The new area is meant to be big and the buggies will be a lot of fun. I was lucky I got the season pass at £16 before it went up in price.
The only thing about the game I wish it did not have guns. Its so much fun running and using melee to kill the zombies.
I'm really looking forward to this as I need a good zombie game but I'll be waiting until I have atleast finnished most of my singleplayer games! Does anyone know if there will be a edition with all the dlc? Because I know all the games I have will take me a while before I buy this.
@Patinator: The Enhanced Edition comes with an enhanced version of the game, all the extra content and patches already released and the new DLC on disc. It's full price, but the DLC seems to be as big as the main game. It will be out in February 12 so you have 4 weeks to finish your games!
Just read they are bringing some of the PC community maps to the PS4 that should be good news for the game. Not sure which ones yet. They are doing a live stream on twitch tomorrow
I read that hud customization is going to be included in the february update thing..i pre-ordered the the premium version but felt that the the hud was to intrusive to enjoy the game properly - thus hardly played it,hoping for a fix since then..Rehyped now
@special_donky: Games like Dead Space and Dark Souls set a standard for no-intrusive HUD. I always try to beat games without any kind of visual helps if I had the possibility to turn them off (like the "see through walls" ability in TLOU and MGS V) because they can ruin the player's immersion. If a game is well designed, permanent HUD aren't necessary. BTW, Dying Light on Hard Mode and without HUD sounds like a real nightmare!
@andreoni79: Yeah,an intrusive hud can really spoil immersion for sure.Definitely games should always have customization options,although some titles it minimal enough not to really be a problem.Then like you said theres the extra difficulty factor of no hud - i'm no pro i just like the extra immersion..I guess i should get a bit of practice in with DL then to ready up a bit lol.
