Kinda surprised no one has mentioned this game, but Ubisoft's new I.P. in what is called a shooter with swords comes out next month. In it you play from the falling factions Knights, Samurai, Vikings in large hack and slash battles. I figure I would post a link since that would be easier to describe the game.

You can also sign up for the beta as well if interested.

I'm interested in the game, and Ubisofts work with RB6 gives me a lot hope for this, but I'm gonna wait till the price drops before I get it.

Latest Review: Star Wars Battlefront Beta
Please add me as I need more friends.
This game reminds me of a TV show that used to come out on Spike TV called The Deadliest Warrior. They would simulate a battle between two different warriors and see which one was, well... the deadliest. In fact, one episode had a Viking vs. Samurai.
Anyway, this looks pretty good so I'll get it down the line.
I didn't have the time to download the Beta due to slow Internet speeds at mine, but I'm definitely excited for For Honor. What I played in both single and multi-player at Gamescom last year was great. Also I get the feeling this has a of passion, especially considering the fact that the creative director Jason Vandenberghe had been pitching it for over a decade.
Yeah I didn't get into the beta (didn't think I would since I signed up late for it) so hopefully I can get into the next round. A few co-workers of mine did however and they are loving it. I just might preorder this one.

I played 8 hours in the beta and I have to say I was surprisingly impressed, couldn't stop playing because the gameplay was so fun! I was always interested in this but honestly thought it would turn out crap even though I love Vikings/Knights hack and slash type of games like Chivalry etc. So gone ahead and pre ordered now, just hoping there's a couple more game modes and something that ties the online together abit better. Also thought it was weird that you could have different factions on the same team but I'm hoping that was just for the beta... Ohwell ik I'm going to have alot of fun with it anyway!
It can be difficult if you have trouble reading your opponent's movements and being able to react quickly is really crucial as well. Even though I was getting rekt a lot of the time, I thought the controls were pretty solid and a lot of fun. Here's hoping the single player campaign is good. Wouldn't been nice if they included an online co-op feature (since they removed local co-op) for single player as well. I think the game will have 12 characters in total when the game releases and another 6 as DLCs.
So who's played the open beta? I managed to have a quick go- enough to do the tutorial, opening dual and very quick game of dominion. Looking forward to spending some time with it tonight. Movement felt suitably weighty and I liked the dual, but in dominion with everything else going on I found it nigh on impossible to see the icons showing the attack placements of other players and kept getting battered.
So far I am enjoying it. I only did the tutorial and then a match of domination but I had alot of fun. Kinda wish there was a FP view point though.
FP would be near impossible if playing against 3rd. I personally hate FP as your cone of sight is limited and not even a true 180 degrees; you have zero peripheral vision. Ugh. There are way too many FP games, imo.
@starhops Yeah, but that's the point of FP view lol.
Sunk some more time into it and I am enjoying this game alot. It reminds me alot of Lord of the Rings Conquest if anyone has played that. This is going to keep me busy this weekend for sure.
