Am I the only one struggling with the difficulty curve of KZ? I have been at the start of Chapter 2 since I got it with my PS4. I was wondering why I have not revisted the game since launcg and now I remember why! It is so damn hard!
I started playing it on normal and despite losing my orientation a few times and the standoff in the last mission I didn't have any problems. What difficulty are you playing it on?

It is on normal with 16 deaths. I really dislike the alarm system. I know it is a huge flashing light but when you are in the heat of the moment it is a real pain to get too. Also you are a "Shadow" but all AI know where you are all the time. I walk forward to a small area and there ae now gaurds. I turn around and there are a few but them I am being shot by about 10 guards from my original view point. This makes no sense to me! I am really starting to down rate this game. Even the multiplayer is un-balanced It really winds me up as I was really looking forward to this game.
I didn't find it that hard to be honest. There was some stupid sh*t in this game, especially at the end, but I didn't think the difficulty was the problem.
Also, the multiplayer is the most balanced and easy to get into, team-based, tactical fun I've had in a long time, in my opinion! Just give it some time. The single player wasn't too exciting for me, but hard? No.

I beat it on hard. And there were only 3 really hard and annoying moments. Where you need to defend room with scientist against endless hoards of helgs and those guys with their annoying nano-armors =(... Where you need to close the doors, from wich spawns endless hoards of helgs and those guys with annoying nano-armor... And last room with 20 helgs of all types and no good spots to shoot them from...
I know that. But they keep spawning on the alarm and you have to battle your way through them to it! Then thereis the drop ship & also that the enemy know where you are even if they havn't seen you! What is that about?! Sometimes it triggeres when there are no enemies :/
I always silence the alarm from a distance. I dunno. I felt like the shadow level took me a long time to complete because I was learning the system, but I didn't die a lot.
Sorting it from a distance whilst hidden would be great if you were hidden to the enemies owl like vision lol After I did the 2nd level I ended up playing Killzone Dead Space Edition XD

Hey ZeD, sounds like you already got past this level, but if you play it again you should know that there's a building you can infiltrate and disable all alarms ("radio communications") on the level. It makes it much easier. I went past it too on my first playthrough, but this walkthrough mentions it towards the end of this page: http://www.neoseeker.com/walkthroughs/k … The_Shadow I forget how it looks in the game, but it's the not the main areas where you place C4 bombs. I think it's off to the right a bit. As long as you're careful about attacking enemies you can take them out one at a time by sneak attack (R3) or in small groups, and if they don't sound the alarms the dropshops that bring reinforcements don't come.

Thanks for the tip. I remember when I first played it I could not find where my crew was! I walked around the ship for about 30 mins. So easy to get lost on that level. Have not touched the games since I created this post. Cannot push myself to it again :/
That last combat room with a battalion on Helghast all out for your blood at the same time was really annoying. No problems during the rest of the game but that room was nearly as bad as the end of Killzone 2. Why do Guerrilla Games feel the need to throw these totally unenjoyable sections into their games at the end. Do they not have any better ideas?
That said I did end up enjoying it more than I thought I would. Overall a solid shooter which is a long way off being a classic.
@AlexStinton I share your experience, about the single player. Did you get into the multiplayer yet? Im enjoying it madly, even compiling a video for youtube form my "greatest moments" as we speak!

@Scollurio Not tried the Multiplayer yet as Battlefield 4 has been my poison of late. Maybe I should check it out as I've been hearing that a few people are really into it.
