@KratosMD My advice would be to use the early floors as the grind. Use cards that create rooms with many heartless. That way you can stock up on field cards, which become more important for the later floors, when the requirements become more specific/extensive.
I would save the rare field cards such as the moogle room and the premium room for later in the game (floor 8+).
The game is great but there are some insane difficulty spikes.

@KratosMD That's a good decision to wait. I'm not reading any of the reviews before I play the game to keep it fresh, but I do think a lot of lower scores will be from be people who haven't played the other games, or just payed KH2 years ago. You can honestly just discount those reviews from the offset. It's like someone reviewing Infinity War as their first Marvel movie and giving it a lower score because it was confusing to them or they didn't know the characters. Ludicrous stuff.
It's currently sitting at an 89 on both metacritic and opencritic. That makes it the best reviewed KH game and puts it 2 points over KH2- which is one of my favourite games of all time.
I thought it would score in the low to mid 80s, due to reviewers missing out on the plot.
The wait...might have been worth it?

So Square released some videos on Youtube for Kingdom Hearts III called Memory Archive and basically they explain the plot of the series so if KH3 is your first entry then it might be a good idea to watch them or even if your an old hand and just want to get reacquainted with it

On a different note does anyone think more worlds will be added to Kingdom Hearts 3 via DLC and if so what worlds would you like to see?

Just finished up Birth by Sleep. This is the point where things get convoluted. Can't blame anyone for being lost. It's crazy how much lore and back story this game adds. It's mad to think they put this on the PSP 4 years after KH2. It's by far the most fascinating game in the series- there are so many layers.
I only just realised that Castle Oblivion was the palace in the Land of Departures! It only took 9 years! It was never really revealed in CoM what Xemnas was looking for. I had always assumed it would be the Chamber of Awaking, but he was actually looking for his other 'friend' (Ven) as he's already got Aqua with him in the Chamber of Repose in KH2. No wonder he couldn't find him, as Terra himself wasn't given that knowledge, due to failing the mark of mastery.

Last night I finished Dream Drop Distance. It was a good game, got me set up for KH3. I will say this though, Inception is now a simple movie. By comparison, it just is.
@Jaz007 Yeah, I still don't know what to think about THAT twist.
At there's only a day left for KH3! I don't know what to do with myself for today.

I’m pretty hyped that this is out tomorrow - I’ve never been a huge fan of the games but it’s a magical series and I love certain aspects of it. I have alot of memories of getting the first for Christmas way back when Lord of the Rings was a huge deal and we were moving out of the house I was born in. Can’t wait to pick it up in February.

I've only had the game pre-ordered since Sunday, but truly hoping my copy arrives in the early afternoon so I can play for majority of the day.
What difficulty is everyone playing at?
I believe Critical is unlocked after beating the game. If it’s like previous games there will be an unlockable secret ending that’s easier based on the difficulty.
I think I’ll go Proud. Also there’s a performance mode on PS4 Pro.

I know this has got Disney characters from children's films but is the game child friendly? Would it be suitable for a 7 year old and are the games mechanics/battle systems okay for a child of that age?
Can't think of anything good to put here just yet, watch this space...
@Throb well my 8 year old nephew has played the older KH games without much trouble so it should be fine
