Hey Guys, been looking through the list of games on launch and started making a list of games I will be getting.
I will be getting Killzone, Minecraft, Fifa (Upgrade) & Lego Marvel. I only have enough at launch (until Xmas) for one more game. Would it be overkill to get COD/Battlefield? I was thinking of maybe getting either ACIV or Watchdogs.
What are your thoughts? Thanks
EDIT: I think I might just stick with what I have got then see what is in sale after Xmas!
I like to get games in a mix of genres when buying a new system as well but if you really like FPS I think Killzone: Shadow Fall will be different enough from both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 that you won't have to worry about that feeling of overkill.

Fair point. Might pick up Battlefield after launch around Jan time
Out of your choices I would get WatchDogs or ACIV but I would lean towards Watch Dogs. If you did get COD/BF4 it wouldn't be overkill either. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
As of right now, I am getting Killzone and Need for Speed as far as the retail games. I may get a 3rd or 4th but we will have to see what my funds look like as it gets closer to launch.
Fair considerations, after "overkilling" so many times on current gen or steam (those pesky sales, damn you!) i found out that overkilling only results in spoiling your fun in the long run, I mean I can hop 2 maybe 3 games but to fully enjoy a game I like to do it like this: one strong singleplayer game (The Last of Us on current gen for example) and one strong multiplayer game (another example this gen: diablo 3) and that way I try to always replace one game with another and not have too many games at once because it will spoil the experience for me and I get messed up with my controls!
So my advice to you would be to enjoy the wealth of games out there and depending on the time you can spend playing I'd go for Killzone, ACIV, and Battlefield IV! Thats all.
Why? Killzone offers strong single player (if you like the unvierse) and a Multiplayer thats closer to COD than to BF, so skip COD and get BF for the large scale experience, on top of that it also has solid single player, ACIV is kinda like a bonus if you're sick of modern warfare/sci warfare. I WOULDN't get minecraft just yet because it's a massive timesink that might corrupt your experience of anything else, AND you can pick it up anytime as it is not dependent on a strong multiplayer community like killzone and BF are, and there WILL be a time when there are not so many games you're interested in, then this minecraft and/or watchdogs could be your fallback titles!
But thats just me, I prefer LESS more engaging experiences over having multiple choices battling for my attention!
