The PS3 has gotten a couple of new PS2 Classic games since I got my PS3 in July, but I haven't heard much regarding PS2 Classics for the PS4. Has Sony abandoned the platform on the PS4?
I think they have. I'm just glad they decided to release Okage before they dropped support. I don't think it's that they have given up on PS2 games (and I bet we'll get a handful more before the PS5 comes out), but they've pretty much decided by this point that PS Now will be their answer for backwards compatibility.
I don't like PS Now because my internet isn't fast enough.
That's why, if you want the ultimate Playstation retro experience, you need to get a PS3. At least that's what I tell my friends, but they're slowly migrating to PC so they don't care about retro Playstation games anymore. (T_T )
Revolver is being launched, I read an article on it. If I was in publishing I would raid the back catalouge asap, but I suppose only the big hitters have the resources to rerelease games for a limited return.

@Tasuki: I wish they did a better job advertising because the PS store is a little confusing to navigate, especially for new comers (but at least it's not as bad as the Xbox store). There are a lot of good PS2 games out there, it's kind of a shame that more people don't play them.
Actually playing Dark Chronicles right now. They have slowed down with the releases though. I'm still hoping for Need for Speed Underground, DBZ Tenkaichi 3 and the True Crime series but I don't think it's likely.

@Rukiafan7: yep it's Dark Cloud 2. Loving it so far. I didn't think a game could ever make me like settlement building but Dark Cloud 2 did it.

@Rukiafan7: She's not the only one. (T-T ) I feel really sad that Sony seems to have completely dropped PS1 games.
But back to PS2, I would love to see Silent Hill 2-4 (mostly because they've never had a proper remaster and no, I don't consider the HD collection on PS3 worthy of the Silent Hill name). Also, Beyond Good and Evil. I have hope for BG&E because supposedly a sequel has been teased.
I can't believe publishers aren't putting more into this initiative to be honest. Rockstar even said during a financial that sales of these PS2 Classics were really strong. There are SO many games missing, it's insane.
