Infamous Second Son is the best PS4 game I've played so far. I've mostly only played sports games, but Second Son is a step above the rest in my collection. It looks and plays great, and it has a very interesting story.
For the sports fans out there, I've played Madden 15, MLB 14 The Show, and WWE 2K15. I have EA Sports UFC downloaded but haven't played it much. The three I listed above are all pretty solid as well. I'm already looking forward to MLB 15 The Show releasing in a couple months! The second one on the PS4 is going to be outstanding.
Diablo 3, Last of Us and Dragon Age are still the top games imo !
for all i give to this console (which frankly considering i invested quite a bit of money, its somewhat deserved) im still having a lot of fun with it , its now sitting besides my WiiU and Pc, but i hope BloodBorne could change that, cant wait !
and i guess ill get Order 1886 anyway, theres not much else i want to buy nowadays (my gf will gift me Zelda Majora Mask 3DS so that covers that up)
Apotheon! Bleedin' brilliant, such a beautifully well made game, I've given up on a bunch of 'AAA' games this weekend due to boredom and technical nonsense. This game though runs like hot butter. Honestly give it a 10.
Loving all the good things I'm hearing about this game! Didn't get a chance to check it out this weekend in the end, but if I can finish off Second Son during the week this week then it'll be a toss-up between this and Transistor for the weekend.
From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5
The last of us, gta 5, watchdogs, destiny, rogue legacy, pix the cat. In that order of recommendation.

How are the sidequests in Far Cry 4 ? same meh drive this, go through this, get me that, etc... of Far Cry 3 or more fledge out quests like in Skyrim ?
Far Cry 4 seems like decent deal on the Critics Sale, but i played Far Cry 3 not too long ago and considering this is almost a carbon copy in terms of gameplay im not too interested... except if the side quests are cool enough
If not its between Metro Redux or Wolfenstein (both games already played on PC but i really want something new for my PS4)
Im not sure what to think about The Order, tried it for a couple of hours on a friends house, graphically its, just wow, for consoles its the best looking game ive seen, but the art style leaves a lot to be desired :/
The gameplay is... serviceable, it one of the most typical, old schools, by the numbers third person shooter ive played.
The story seems interesting and cool, i kinda liked the cutscenes and stuff, i do hate QTE, especially after Dragons Dogma show us how to do huge and amazing boss battles without a single QTE. I cant make a full point on the story seems i play it for a few hours, it may go downfall or not.
Considering its lenght, im pretty torn about this, i do get that feeling of "this is one of the games that i will pick once i can find it cheap"

I talk way too much about The Order but feeling like you do I guess you took the right conclusion. Get it when it's cheaper and you can't go wrong. At all!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
The Order or Dying Light? I can't decide... but I'm going to pick up one of them on Friday... Any help??
I'd say Dying Light is the more safe bet except you exactly know what The Order is offering and that you like it.
Dying Light is offering immense freedom and fun, especially if played coop! The Order is your short cinematic, truly linear romp through retro-futuristic victorian London.

I'm looking forward to dying light, its pretty trash in a good way. That's my suggestion
I was really positively surprised by dying light. I didn't expect much and I don't like the Zombie theme at all. Ended up pouring 60 hours into it having fun, far from done yet. Best buy this year so far!

Cool. I think I'm going to get Dying Light. There is only one thing holding me back: I've got the impression from some videos that it could be similar to an Ubisoft open-world game, where you spend a lot of time running around looking for and opening chests and collecting fairly pointless collectibles. The is not the kind of gameplay I'm looking for. Can anyone comment? Cheers!
So I am thinking of picking up a racing game for the PS4 probably is I can't decide between Drive Club or The Crew? Any suggestions? Like how do the games play? Is there any offline co-op so that my son or if I have a friend over we race together?

Drive Club is good, but it's a very simple and straightforward driving game. There are three modes: pure racing, time attack and drift challenge. So it's all about racing and getting the fastest times possible. It's a lot of fun because of the amazing graphics, cornering and sense of speed. It's a good game when you're looking for something simple like going around a track and shaving seconds of your time. I love it, but it's a simple game that lacks the variety and razzmatazz that I think an open world game like The Crew has.
Personally I would opt to spend my money on Dying Light as it offers a lot more for your money. Alternatively you could buy the Order and trade it in the next day after completing it for Dying Light

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

Depending on how serious you want your racing games I'd say wait for Project Cars. It's gonna be the best in a very long time. I've been part of the crowdfunding team since the beginning and saw it shape up over the last couple of years. It's going to be phenomenal!
Driveclub is the more arcadey affair. Certainly not bad if this is up your alley. The Crew is a mess though. Horrid physics, plenty of pointless Ubisoftesque fille objectives and such sort...
Hope that helped!

You do have to scrounge for materials to craft, but this is done rather easily, most of which you can get by just looting Zombie corpses and the odd box here and there. If you're not going for the Plat but just play it casual there isn't too much "pointless collectibles" involved. There certainly are plenty of such but its mandatory to go after them, even all the side quests are optional, I highly recommend doing them though as they will result in highly entertaining weird dialogues and also good rewards in form of upgrades and weapons! You'll see, Dying Light is MUCH more than the sum of its parts!

@Scollurio sounds good. I like side quests, especially ones that add flavor and narrative to the game. I also like scavenging for resources. After Far Cry 4 I'm sick of collecting things only for the sake of xp. Dying light doesn't sound like that, the game world seems thicker as well... I wanna play it!

If you got at least one guy to play with the game really shines and there are plenty hilarious situations that will make you laugh!
