@bluedex Yeah, I like the fact that you can make Geralt good or evil depending on the decisions you make, each has it's own benefits, and will influence the story, and obviously personal benefits for the player depending on what kind of person you are, how are you choosing to play as Geralt? (decision-making wise)
@TraCuz- I’m playing through the MGS series atm (in a funky order... and spaced between other games) hope to have them all done by the end of 2021. MGSV is not considered as highly as the others (particularly 1, 2 & 3) but I absolutely loved it.
I just tried the Knockout City beta for a few minutes. It's ok. After a couple matches I did more of the tutorial and found out about trickshots and stuff - I'll probably try some of that in a match tomorrow. Probably not something I'd stick with for longer while though.
I've been playing Bloodborne, working on completing a build I intend to call my Dark Souls OP Build - Cainhurst Set & Moonlight Greatsword with 99 Vitality, 50 Strength and 50 skill, essentially a tank build, still, at level 71 of 99 vitality now, it's been a long grind but I'm almost at the finishing line for vitality, then just 40 more levels after that! ah, it'll be a long slog, but worth it.
I intend to post pictures of the build on PSN once I'm done, so watch this space.

@LieutenantFatman No I am strictly a PvE guy, haven't been invaded thus far, and I never invade anyone else's game. I did do a few duels in Dark Souls, though, great fun, didn't win very often, but still, great fun. Also, I've decided only to level my vitality to 99 for The Old Hunters and have given up on levelling up my other stats, it just takes too long! On 73 of 99 vitality now.

@TheBrandedSwordsman
That's fair, plenty of people who dislike the online side of games. It's a brilliant game even if played completely offline. I hope Sony give it a little upgrade at some point.
@LieuetenantFatman@TraCuz- I am currently soul farming in Dark Souls Remastered, Grave of Artorias area, to make an OP character to use up to NG+2, how far did you make it with your respective playthroughs of the original Dark Souls, if you've tried it? If you haven't, what's been putting you off?

@colonelkilgore I believe so, although A Knight's Honour is allegedly quite difficult to obtain. How did you find it? You must have played through to NG+2?

@TheBrandedSwordsman yeah it wasn’t too bad... though I think it was the last trophy I obtained. Iirc I think I had to make a few different weapons with Sif’s soul, so you have to get to the Blacksmith in Anor Londo in ng+2 at least.
@TheBrandedSwordsman My first entry in the Souls series was DS3, and since then I fell in love with FromSoft. I think I put in like 200 hours, my character is like 140 or sumn, beat the story twice and played both DLCs. Never went back to 1 or 2. With both Bloodborne and Sekiro I was at points in my gaming where I didn't feel like making the committment to them. Maybe I'll go back some day.
@TraCuz- Yeah give Bloodborne another go, I never beat Sekiro either, the gameplay in DS1 is rather antiquated compared to 3, you might find - also DS2 isn't worth playing, imo. How is MGS2 going?
Edit: DS1 is still a brilliant game in it's own right, though.
had it sat in my library for ages must have bought it in a sale so I thought I'd give it a shot. really enjoyed my first couple of hours didn't really know where I was going until I got the compass charm but its a solid little Metroidvania.
Playing through TLOU2 on grounded mode, and its by far the better and more rewarding experience to the other settings, it makes it feel much more like a apocalyptic world with resources and ammo being hard to find. If you make a mistake or get detected it puts you under a lot more pressure and gives you a lot less time to react which for this type of game world is much better. Could still nit pick some of the AI but its generally a lot better than when on moderate or hard.
Also playing through using headphones making use of the PS5 3 Audio and I can hear so many more little sounds didn't hear before and things going on around. Can really hear when the characters breathing changes when they in a tense situation or running or bit angry. In one bit where the NPC has been exposed to spores could follow them much easier just from the direction of their coughing.
Enjoying Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara really isn't Tomb Raiding anymore, she's just kickin' ass, takin' names and is out for revenge/redemption. It's like she's Aloy and Ellie combined going through a Nathan Drake's adventure.
After this, i'll probably jump back into a JRPG in my backlog or Days Gone.
