Is anyone else here planning to buy this on Tuesday?
I saw this in an upcoming games chart and had no idea it was being released its not my usual type of game but having watched a review by one of my favourite reviewers RadBrad (*see below) i have decided to break my usual rule and buy new i hope i am not disappointed.
*The imbedded video is a little dark if you go to YT its much better.
@Max_Headroom I wonโt be playing day one as I just have too much planned, hyped for the game though. Big fan of Ubisoftโs cookie-cutter open-worlds and have been a fan of Star Wars since my gramp got me to watch A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back in preparation to go watch Return of the Jedi during itโs original theatrical (I was 4 ๐ฅน). Game looks great.
I really can't wait to try this game. I've been playing through Jedi Survivor, incrementally, played a decent amount last night/this morning (f*** you Shattered Determination puzzle and your not very responsive wall jumps ๐ )
And I kind of just want something more casual and popcorn like. The cinematic set piece elements of JS are good, and the combat is alright, a bit jerky and unresponsive at times, and starting to get a bit repetitive tbh.
So I just want something new in the Star Wars universe, which hopefully Outlaws will be.
When it seems you're out of luck.

Looks okay. I have a pile of games to play that will probably last me till the end of the year but I'll pick it up eventually, preferrably a second hand copy.
I'm tempted to pre-order it now, along with Astro Bot and Visions of Mana. I know a lot of people are sick of Ubisoft's style of open world games, but I'm not one of those people.
I would so love for this game to be good, but I'm going to at least wait for reviews. I've been wanting a Star Wars open-world game since KoToR, but today's game design has me so, so wary, and weary.
Were this 8 years ago I'd have preordered in pure excitement and without a thought, but those days are long gone.
If anyone plays this game early at any point, please do leave any early impressions in this thread. I can't decide whether to go with the gold edition for the DLC's in the hope it's good enough and of acceptable length to play through twice or more, or just the regular edition and maybe grab the DLC seperate when it's long since been out if it's worth it.
