@colonelkilgore Nice try in trying catch me out, but I believe that was under different circumstances though. Looks like you are trying to just as deceitful as the leaks and rumours you put so much stock in. Please don't tag me in this thread again, I'm done with it for good.

@colonelkilgore I can take banter with the best of them, but one thing one don't like is stuff like you have just done, purposely trying to twist something to make another person look bad. Kinda crossed the line. Some people just don't know when to stop though.
@colonelkilgore And like a lot of people who think they are just having 'bants', you seemingly don't when to stop, do you? Anyway, I have no interest with this anymore, good day to you sir.

Career-Kojima theorist yongyea has now entered the fray and put a good vid up. Pretty balanced take on the info available including the recent Kahraman interview with a Dutch outlet.
Hasan's live video is stirring up the flames that he posted on Twitter a few hours ago. He is definitely not working on Silent Hill (okay then he could be working on Silent Hills?) Some are saying that his video is actually gameplay with new technology, some say he is about to cry. I love a bit of intrigue, hoping everything comes out good
Can't think of anything good to put here just yet, watch this space...
@Kidfried I do get what you're saying in regards to irl conspiracy theories but at least with this one we'll actually get a resolution. Either 'Abandoned' will release (although it will be called something else as Blue Box has already confirmed the finished game will go by another game) with no connection to Silent Hill and/or Kojima... or it will release and it will be connected to Silent Hill and/or Kojima. Either way, there will be a definitive... which is obviously a good thing.
Just listening to the latest Sacred Symbols show while at work and the guys had a really cool segment discussing this situation. Their eventual take-away is that whether Kojima and Silent Hill are connected or not (though its pretty clear from his input that Colin is more on the side that they are) this Blue Box developed Sony exclusive is at the very least, definitely not what it seems, which I think is the best position to take (while remaining curious) at this point in time.
@Kidfried Well I'll never speak in the definitive until all of the information is available but that is certainly a strong possibility. I'm surprised by how quickly people are to think that is the only possible outcome though. When 'Moby Dick' were making The Phantom Pain, they released an interview to state that they had no connection with Kojima and the game had no connection with Metal Gear Solid... obviously that wasn't the case.
This time an interview has been carried out with Hasan Kahraman where he has stated no connection to Kojima and Silent Hill. Obviously on the face of it that could well be true but the interview did include a line stating that we are not able to include everything discussed within our article. So, it could (with could being the operative word) be a case of history repeating.
I've been following all this as it's been quite fun but I have little stake in the outcome as I'm only a moderate fan of Silent Hill/Kojima. So whether it's connected or not I won't be too fussed.
That being said one theory I thought interesting is that the game Blue Box studios is making is literally just a 10 minute mini-game that's purpose is to reveal an actual full game eg. Silent Hill. Hasn't the only work of the studio been a couple of phone app games? So when he says he isn't working on SH he is technically true but heavily connected. Maybe when you play/watch the trailer Friday it will tease the actual game and maybe it will lead to a full reveal in a Sony 'E3 Style' stream next week.
Just thought that might be an exciting outcome but I think it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds as either way.
@BearsEatBeets I think this is a clear example of the problem/beauty (problem for the cynics and beauty for the curious) with this particular conspiratorial gaming phenomena… it’s just so wide open that anything could mean anything… to anyone. Therefore, it’s definitely a possibility, one of, ooohhh… 999,999,999 at my current count 😉
@Kidfried well, as with any investigation it comes down to evidence in each of the likely outcomes. In fairness, the Kahriman interview and video can certainly be considered strong evidence in the ‘Not associated to Silent Hill &/ Kojima’ outcome… and if it wasn’t for the history of this kinda thing happening previously with the same person, together with a string of frankly outrageous coincidences, I can assure you that I’d be firmly in that camp. The fact though that Kojima does have previous, together with the string of outrageous coincidences (evidence, though not as strong as the recent Kahriman info-dump, simply circumstantial at most right now… is in favour of the ‘is connected to Silent Hill &/Kojima’) means that it’s still open to speculate at this current point in time.
@Kidfried ahhh… you wouldn’t want to know anything about that kid, your whole semblance of reality would crash down around you within seconds of hearing the informational delicacies 😎
@Kidfried no need to pity any one kid, from what I’ve seen the people who think a connection is possible have had a blast with this whole situation. However it turns out it’s been great fun, it’s the people who are 100% sure there is no connection (& in fairness could be absolutely correct) that seem to be getting all bent out of shape about it.
It still feels like the most likely outcome is the end of the trailer app asking for your credit card details...
If it was Kojima, I don't think he would have done the 'First letter S, last letter L' tweet as it's too on the nose, compared to the subtlety of the rest of it.
But surely you can't deny there are some insane coincedences about the whole thing, that meant Blue Box had no way of controlling this once it got started.
I've just been googling the whole CreateQ thing.
So Blue Box's most recent game is listed on steam, 'The Haunting'. Only it has a recent update saying, Blue Box are no longer working on it, CreateQ interactive are finishing it up.
CreateQ interactive don't seem to exist. If you google it, the only company that comes up is CreateQ in the Netherlands. About an hour from where Blue Box are based,
The CreateQ website feels like a fake site with no real information on it, but hey, maybe they just don't care about a web presence. However, go to the contact page, and click on the google street view link for their address. No CreateQ building exists, instead it's a photo of a company called Mayflower.
The Mayflower took pilgrims from Holland, specifically Leiden, where Blue Box studios is based, to the new world. They aimed to head for Virginia.
The Silent Hill movie is set in West Virginia...
It's hilarious. Most entertainment I've had for weeks. I bet Kojima is loving it, even if he's not connected. It must be a brilliant example of pareidolia.
