This is a thread to post details of your gaming/media set up.

Currently I have a PS4, Xbox One with Kinect, PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles all set up although due to limited HDMi inputs I can't keep all connected to my TV. I have also plugged in a Seagate 5TB Expansion to my Xbox One to increase storage. In reality I never use my last gen consoles now so may end up setting them up in the bedroom when I move my TV to there after my replacement arrives.

My TV is a wall-mounted Samsung LN46A650 Series 4 1080p but this is due to be replaced in the next week (arriving Saturday) for a Samsung UE55HU7500 4k 3D UHD TV. I would be interested to know if anyone else has a 4k TV and how it affects gaming. I also intend to try 3D gaming to see how that changes things.

I also have a Sky+ HD Set Top Box (also connected to my BT Home Hub 5.0 Broadband for on-demand) and a Samsung HT-TZ315 Home Theatre System which also doubles up as my CD music system.

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

A big ol' 50 inch year young Bravia, couple of fairly decent Altec Lansing speakers and a sub with my trusty PS4 and 2 controllers. My sofa aint too shabby either!

Not exactly top of the range gear but more than adequate for current gen gaming, and a set up I'd have loved to have had in my teens

I have a 55 inch Sony Bravia W950b (2014) connected up to my PS4 in my apartment, great gaming set, some of the reviews last year where somewhat critical, but the software updates have really improved the blacks and general calibration.........and a New 3DS XL, lol (Wii U has been sold, don't really miss it either tbh).

I had a Samsung 7150 last year, but I found it to be a somewhat poor gaming TV despite all of the praise concerning the blacks and uniformity.

I am curious to see how the 2015 LG OLED TV's review. LG is usually pretty hit or miss when it comes to its sets, and of course an awesome picture means nothing if input lag sucks.

I have a 48 inch Vizio LCD tv that my Wii U, PS4, Wii and OUYA are hooked up to, I also have a Roku stick hooked into it too. For my older consoles I have a CRT tv which I will have a SNES, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, and Sega Genesis/Sega CD hooked up to. Just need to find the time to move some furniture and hook everything up.

Well my gaming set-up is changing slightly. I still have my PS4 and XB1 connected to my 55" 4k 3D HU7500 in my main living room but my 46" series 4 Samsung (that was replaced by the HU7500 and moved to the bedroom) finally gave up working.

Therefore it has been replaced by yet another Samsung TV - the 48H6400 (1080p, 3D TV) - which is wall mounted and connected up to my PS3 and XB360.

I know games on console are not 4k and in some cases not even 1080p, but I must say I do think they look better on a 4K set. The fact my TV upscales, I think, does give the picture a 'better than 1080p' look. Anyone else have a 4K TV?

in my room a 32" Sony Bravia TV with a PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Gamecube and Wii U hooked up and a 5.1 surround sound system

also have an old 32" Sony Wega CRT TV with my NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive and Dreamcast hooked up via a RGB/Scart switcher

in the living/family room i have the XB1 hooked up to the family 32" LG but we only use that for DVD/blu-ray and Netflix (as for my XBOX and 360 they both broke so they aint hooked up to anything)

sometimes i will connect one to my projector and game on a 92" screen, that's a lot of fun ^_^

I use a 27" Toshiba FST Pure 27AF42 for retro gaming and for retro gaming with the original consoles a CRT TV will always be the best way to go.
