@LN78 well, I’d imagine that I’ve already said too much… and certain Push Square employees are primed to pounce. Add me on PSN, just add the usual sexual-deviants favourite two digit number to the end of my username here and you’ll find me 😉

I'm constantly having to check ignored users all the time, as my big thumb is forever accidentally ignoring someone.

I'm not huge on conflict and I try to get along with everyone, if that's not possible then I just don't talk to them.

I’m blocked by Antimatter because I kept tagging him in screenshots from Doom, other than that I’m sure everyone loves my input

@kyleforrester87 That is one of the best uses of Push Square I think I've ever read.

@kyleforrester87 😂😂😂 that's hilarious, I thought he might like Lego Star Wars with Shirtless Kylo Ren. But he still wasn't keen!

@kyleforrester87 Who wouldn't love your jam input?

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Honest the ignore feature I feel.is one of the worst additions to the sites. I have noticed since it's implementation that the sites have become very clique now kinda like a high school. You have groups of people ignoring other groups of people and the sense of a community is not here anymore.

I also dont like that anyone can block anyone for no reason at all. If you want to ignore me fine but at least have a reason like I broke some kind of rule. Not only that but the ignore feature to me just makes it so I can talk ***** behind peoples back without them knowing. I feel that users should have an ignore button, but it should be reviewed by the staff and then they give the final word on whether the person is ignored or not. By doing it the current way it feels like the staff doesn't want to be bothered moderating the community and quite honest if you don't want to be bothered by that, well, don't have forums.

I can go on for awhile on this subject but those are the biggest points I feel.

@Tasuki It's a double edged sword for sure but I was actively put off from visiting the site because of a couple of users who were persistent annoyances for me. Putting them on "ignore" has solved the problem. I have no issue whatsoever with people on the internet who (in all likelihood) I will never meet face to face in real world circumstances badmouthing me behind my back - I'll take that over having to read posts from people whose attitudes and opinions drive me up the bloody wall..

The site has grown exponentially in the last few years. You also have the cross media platform traffic that’s actively encouraged. This brings in a whole set of different opinions.
Just a few years ago it was the same old heads commenting on articles & in the forums so there was much less friction. That’s no longer the case. You can even tell from the articles written that are now much more universal, then back when they targeted a British audience (bring back custard creams!).

I’ve not got anyone blocked. Just don’t see the point, as the comment still stands & you could just view it by logging out. I just leave it up to moderation. Perfect example is the Forspoken article the other day, when someone obviously tried to rile people up with their ‘stay woke, go broke’ comment. I have no intention in buying Forspoken but had the urge to clap back.
Typed the comment, waited a few seconds…decided I wasn’t going to give them a rise out of me. Deleted & moved on.

Also moderation is a thankless job. Sure we all have our natural biases, but that’s up to the staff to review.

Hope @KAIRU keeps on gaming & gets back when they are good & ready. Really enjoyed reading their comments. Always insightful & got a good laugh out of me.

people get way to invested into an online comment section, so for some the time away helps.

i do know nessionet blocked me because i said i play games for the enjoyment, not quotas ( or similar) in a ff16 thread. but honestly if they want to block over that then fair play.

kairu made some good comments so Hopefully resurfaces
