@WanderingBullet: when it comes to Manga i like Hiromu (Hiromi) Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist), Yana Toboso (Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler), Shinobu Ohtaka (Magi), Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), Nakaba Suzuki (Nanatsu no Taizai/Seven Deadly Sins), Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto), Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail), Tetsuya Tashiro (Akame Ga Kill) & Katsura Hoshino (D.Gray-Man)
one of the reasons i do fan arts is because i love these styles and want to try to emulate them
as for Anime i don't really have any favourites as pretty much EVERY studio can do both really bad and fantastic work and i think that depends on what source material they are working with and the time constraints involved

True, but my choices were mainly based on the number animes that I liked that were developed by those studios. Granted not all their animes are good (like you said - depends on what source material they are working with and the time constraints involved) but they have a good track record when it comes to delivering animes with good production values, imo.
Speaking of Hiromu Arakawa, have you watched Arslan Senki (The Heroic Legend of Arslan)?

@FullbringIchigo: Cool, I did watched a couple episodes and thought the story was pretty interesting but my friend who has watched the entire season said the animation quality is pretty inconsistent and bad at times.
@WanderingBullet: yeah it can be but it's the same with many anime, just look Dragon Ball Super

@FullbringIchigo: Wow, that is bad. XD I usually don't buy animes when they have inconsistent or poor animation quality no matter how good the story is. Anyways, do you think that they're running out of ideas for Dragon Ball? I read that Goku's now a Super Saiyan God.
@WanderingBullet: actually he is now a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (AKA Super Saiyan Blue and no i'm not kidding)
as for story no i don't think he is running out of ideas, the multiverse story looks like it coud be great and Jaco/DB Minus was fun too but i do think he's run out of ways to make Goku more powerful without resorting to stupid looking transformations, probably why the new ones are basically pallet swaps of the older ones

@FullbringIchigo: Sorry, but yeah what I was trying to say is that they were running out of ideas on how to make Goku more powerful so decided to make him into a Super Saiyan "God" Super Saiyan instead. I honestly I don't know where they can go from here. lol
@WanderingBullet: Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 3, Ultra Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan
either that or they could just use Super Saiyan 4 as it was meant to be an amalgamation of all the other Saiyan forms anyway and a form without limits, i think that would work best because he could make Goku as powerful as he want's to then without making up new transformations

@WanderingBullet: not sure, it's never stated how it actually works but i imagine that at least basically it takes both persons power levels and adds them together so the more powerful the base bodies the more powerful the fusion
and as Toriyama stopped using power levels after the Freeza/Frieza Saga who knows how powerful they really are

@WanderingBullet: no problem, if your interested in more Dragon Ball info i suggest you check out Kanzenshuu, it's a Dragon Ball fansite and it's full of info about the series

I just finished One Punch Man. It was great. The parody of animes was well done and cause for many laughs, but it still found itself with a good story and characters evolving beyond a big gag. I look forward to the second season.
@Jaz007: One Punch Man's great and its one of my favorite animes of 2015. The second season is apparently slated for a 2017 release. That Saitama dude can definitely give Goku a run for his money when comes to characters being too OP. lol
@Jaz007: @WanderingBullet: i'll be honest i didn't like One Punch Man, it strange because it's normally the type of Anime i like but for some reason this one just didn't do anything for me

Sorry to backtrack the discussion back to Dragon Ball Super, but I actually don't mind the "Super Sayain God Super Sayain" stuff, because I actually saw it as a way for them to sort of reset everything, instead of adding transformation on top of transformation.
The original "SSG" transformation (during the Battle of Gods arc) was temporary, but Goku's body adapted to it, and he's now that strong even in his base form. It looks as if he sort of has to remaster the Super Sayain forms for this new him, rather than these new forms being new transformations on top of the old ones.
TLDR, thanks to adapting to the power of "SSG", he's now just that strong normally, and "SSGSS" is just what Super Sayain is to him now.
It should be noted it's never called SSGSS in the show. To line up with my belief, Goku states that this is just what Super Sayain is once you get a taste of SSG.
