You Know My Name is a Main Quest in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty that takes place after Get It Together. As part of our Cyberpunk 2077 guide, we're going to list everything that you need to know about You Know My Name.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - You Know My Name
With everything in place, V and Reed make for the all-important social event — but they can't just waltz through the front door. Their infiltration route is long and dangerous, forcing the duo into do-or-die stints of teamwork. But the real mission begins at the party itself, as V comes face-to-face with Dogtown's elite, and begins to understand the true scope of what's going on.
Below you'll find an overview of the Main Quest, You Know My Name, which includes a point-by-point Walkthrough, along with additional information that may influence your progress.
Walkthrough
- Go to the flooded tunnels entrance
- For your own safety, remember to equip the diving suit before going into the water
- Swim through the tunnels and watch out for mines — either swim around them, or disarm them with your hacks
- When you get to a room with no immediate way to climb out of the water, look for a yellow ladder and swim under the gate that's near it to reach it
- Press the switch to lower the lift and jump (or swim) over there
- Press the second switch to lower the next platform and crawl through the vent
- Climb the ladders and you'll come to an area with guards
- V will automatically equip Alex's silenced pistol here, for the sake of stealth
- You can easily headshot the guards with it, or you can do things your own way
- Use the computer to hijack the nearby cameras
- Use the cameras to find Reed and follow him
- Hack the gate once you've found Reed — this requires you to complete the hacking minigame, so make sure you know your sequence before going for it
- Enemies will find the guards' bodies once you're done hacking (if you did indeed kill or incapacitate the guards)
- Take out these new foes however you like
- Take the elevator to the maintenance level and then head to the marker
- Take out the sniper, and then talk to Reed over comms
- For this section, you'll need to guide Reed through the route
- You can snipe the guards yourself, but if any of them notice a body, the whole situation will become hostile and you'll need to back Reed up with your sniping as he fights his way forward
- If you want to do this as stealthily as possible, you'll need to warn Reed of upcoming hazards, like cameras and guard patrols
- Use quickhacks to distract guards and disable various hazards so Reed can proceed
- Once you're doing, Reed will lower the bridge and you can cross over to him for the next part of the mission
- Talk with Reed and then equip your suit
- Go to the party
- Speak with Reed and then explore the party at your leisure
- Eventually, Songbird will message you, but you can keep looking around before talking to her up on the balcony
- There are some interesting characters at this party, like a certain man at one of the smaller bars
- You may also recognise certain characters from the main game
- When you're ready, talk to Songbird
- Meet Reed at the bar
- Talk to Reed about your findings and tell him your gut feeling
- Buy enough chips to play roulette
- Talk with the twins while betting
- Fishing for more emotional responses is the easiest way to complete the scans
- Speak with Hansen
- Meet with Reed downstairs
- You can immediately fight your way out of here if you want to get the drop on your enemies, but be aware that a lot of guards stand between you and the door
- If you do choose to fight instead of being escorted, you'll need to lose your wanted level before the quest continues — the easiest way to do this is to find a nice corner to hide in once you're outside of the wanted area
- Reed will contact you in a couple of in-game days with a plan
- Quest complete
