Dead Rising 1 Guide: Walkthrough, All Collectibles, and Survivors Guide

Dead Rising is an Xbox 360 classic that's been modernised twice over, firstly via a standard PS4 remaster, and now with an entirely new PS5 version named Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Playing as Frank West, you are a photojournalist sent to the shopping mall in Willamette to investigate some rather strange and bloody happenings. Having uncovered a huge zombie outbreak, you'll need to survive for 72 hours inside the shopping mall before a rescue helicopter arrives.

In this Dead Rising 1 guide, we are going to provide a complete Walkthrough of every Case and Scoop in the game, then focus on the Psychopaths you'll encounter inside the mall as well as the Survivors you can rescue. We'll also have a few pages covering Collectibles. Our Dead Rising 1 guide is designed to aid users of the new Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though it can still be used for the original title and the remaster for PS4 and Xbox One.

Dead Rising 1 Guide: Walkthrough

In this first section of our Dead Rising 1 guide, we're going to provide a full Walkthrough of all the Cases and Scoops in the game. Cases are all the main quests you have to finish in order to see the story through to the end while Scoops are optional missions tied to rescuing Survivors throughout the huge shopping mall. Due to the time mechanic in the game, all of these missions are potentially missable.
