Below is a complete list of all 15 Fen'Harel Wolf Altars in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, complete with screenshots of locations and maps.

When you find and activate an altar, it'll rotate in a certain direction. Travel to where it's pointing, and you'll see a ghostly image of a wolf. As you get closer, the illusion will dissipate, and a wolf figurine will be left in its place.

Collect the figurine, and you'll gain a skill point for Rook, which can be spent immediately in the skill menu.

  • The figure is up on a cliff that you can jump straight to, just a few seconds from the altar

Crossroads Wolf Altar 2

  • This altar can only be found a little later into the game, in a northern region of the Crossroads called the Heights of Athim
  • It's just up and to the east of where you arrive in the region
  • The altar points north once activated, and getting to the figurine requires a bit of a trek
  • You'll find the figurine on a ledge overlooking the area, but it's only accessible once you've completed the Story Quest 'Disrupt and Conquer', which is started by entering Solas' nearby memory

Crossroads Wolf Altar 3

  • This altar is also found in the Heights of Athim, to the east of the region, next to the huge blighted tree

  • To find the figure, head back down from where you came, and climb the ruined building on the lower level
  • The figurine should appear on the top floor, near the ladder

Crossroads Wolf Altar 4

  • This altar can only be accessed later in the game, when you're strong enough to defeat a region's champion and use its essence to remove the blight in the middle region of the Crossroads, Elvhenan's Haven
  • The altar itself is found down a ladder, at the bottom of a cliff
  • It points north once activated, so head back up the ladder and make your way across to the northernmost point of the region
  • Unless you've found the altar after clearing this area of enemies, you'll need to take the long way around and defeat the invaders
  • Climb to the top of the northern island and you'll find the figurine (although you may have to fight yet more enemies)

Crossroads Wolf Altar 5

  • This altar can only be accessed after you beat the champion enemy in Dock Town, and use its essence to unlock the path back in the Crossroads
  • You'll need to defeat all of the Venatori in the area before smashing the crystal in front of the gate to the altar
  • The altar points northeast once activated, pointing towards the cliffs on the other side of the arena
  • To get up there, climb the ladder to the right of the altar (you may need to bring down a Venatori boss at the top) and then turn towards the aforementioned cliffs
