Getting an overview of the layout of the Lands Between is as simple as pushing the touchpad on your controller, but if you haven't found any Maps yet then you'll only see basic information, like all Site of Grace locations you've found thus far. In order to better navigate your surroundings, you'll want to find more detailed maps that will help you to better understand your surroundings. In this Elden Ring guide, we're going to reveal all Maps locations.

How Do You Find Maps in Elden Ring?

Finding all Maps locations in Elden Ring may be confusing at first, but it's fairly straightforward once you know what you're looking for. As you continue to explore the Lands Between and discover new areas and regions, you'll need to collect Maps to get a better overview of your surroundings.

Once you reach a new region, push the touchpad to open your map, and areas you're just discovering will be greyed out, with the exception of basic details and any Sites of Grace you've activated. But if you look for a small, glowing orange tower, this will point you in the direction of the region's map. Use your compass to navigate to the tower, and collect the Map from its base.

What Are All Maps Locations in Elden Ring?

On this page, we've included all Maps locations in Elden Ring. We've included screenshots of the tower you'll find the Map at and its exact coordinates to help you to better discover these essential documents.

Limgrave, West Map

Limgrave, West's Map is found at the base of a pillar in the Gatefront Ruins, just south of Gatefront. Beware of the Godrick Knights in the area.

Limgrave, East Map

Limgrave, East's Map is a little north of the Minor Erdtree, northeast of the Mistwood Ruins, or southeast of Mistwood Outskirts.

Weeping Peninsula Map

Weeping Peninsula's Map can be found by following the path south from Castle Morne Rampart.

Liurnia, East Map

Liurnia, East's Map is located directly north of Liurnia Lake Shore, among the swamp area, guarded by some nasty swamp monsters.

Liurnia, North Map

Liurnia, North's Map is located immediately next to the Academy Gate Town and is almost impossible to miss.

Liurnia, West Map

Liurnia, West's Map is located northeast of the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore, just beneath the Kingsrealm Ruins.

Altus Plateau Map

Altus Plateau's Map is along the road headed north from the Grand Lift of Dectus, a bit north of the Altus Highway Junction.

Mt. Gelmir Map

Mt. Gelmir's Map is just east of the Road of Iniquity, but look out for the hand enemies that'll pop out and pursue you.

Leyndell, Royal Capital Map

Leyndell, Royal Capital's Map is a mere few paces to the east of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree which also houses a couple of Golden Seeds.

Caelid Map

Caelid's Map is located southeast of Caelid Highway South, at the base of a pillar.

Dragonbarrow Map

Dragonbarrow's Map can be found not far from the sleeping dragon, west of Dragonbarrow Fork.

Mountaintops of the Giants, West Map

Mountaintops of the Giants, West's Map is along the path just north of the Grand Lift of Rold, right before the Zamor Ruins.

Mountaintops of the Giants, East Map

Mountaintops of the Giants, East's Map is immediately across a chain bridge headed south, right next to Giants' Gravepost.

Ainsel River Map

Ainsel River's Map is located right next to a shopkeeper in a building north of Ainsel River Downstream. Mind the projectile-slinging enemy guarding the structure.

Siofra River Map

Siofra River's Map is at the bottom of the steps leading up to the Hallowhorn Grounds.

Lake of Rot Map

Lake of Rot's Map is found right on the shore of the lake, just a bit south of the Lake of Rot Shoreside Site of Grace.

Deeproot Depths Map

Deeproot Depths' Map is found underneath a dome amid the ruins to the east of The Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace.

Mohgwyn Palace Map

Mohgwyn Palace's Map is up the stairs, immediately after teleporting using the Pureblood Knight's Medal from White-Faced Varré.

Gravesite Plain Map (DLC)

From the Site of Grace labelled Gravesite Plain, head directly northeast to the structure covered in tapestries. Just to its right, along the path leading underneath it, you'll notice the tower with the Map at its base.

Scadu Altus Map (DLC)

Once you reach the Scadu Altus and activate the Site of Grace at Highroad Cross, simply follow the path next to it north in the direction of the Furnace Golem and you'll soon come to the Scadu Altus Map.

Southern Shore Map (DLC)

The task of obtaining the Map for the Southern Shore, better known as the Cerulean Coast, will take you on quite a trek from the Gravesite Plain. Please refer to our how to reach the Cerulean Coast guide for more information.

Rauh Ruins Map (DLC)

The Rauh Ruins Map is one of the more difficult Maps to find in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, as it requires some exploration of the Scadu Altus rather than simply entering the area. For a guide covering the path there, click through to our how to reach Rauh Ruins page.

Abyss Map (DLC)

The Abyss Map, which documents the Abyssal Woods, is the most difficult section of the Map to reach. Please refer to our how to reach Abyssal Woods guide for more information. When you reach are correct area, you need to follow the main path down to the left, heading southeast. In front of a building will be the Map piece.
