How do you get out of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel after opening the Dragon-Burnt Ruins chest in Elden Ring? So you have gone and got yourself teleported to a far away land and you're looking for aid. Fine, we shall lend a helping hand. In this Elden Ring guide, we're going to reveal how to get out of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. You can also find out How to Complete Sellia Crystal Tunnel through the link.
How Do You Get out of Sellia Crystal Tunnel After the Chest Teleport in Elden Ring?
The chest that teleports you to the middle of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel is located in Dragon-Burnt Ruins, which is in the central lake inside Limgrave. It's an area you're likely to find in the opening few hours of the game, especially since we recommend you find the Twinblade there in our Best Weapons to Get First guide. The chest in question is underground in this place.
If you open it, you'll be caught in a Transporter Trap, which instantly teleports you to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. This is on the other side of the map in a region named Caelid, and you're most likely going to be under levelled compared to the enemies there.
When you spawn in, you'll be in a small wooden hut surrounded by miners and enemies that'll shoot webbing at you. Common sense would suggest you go up: you don't want to go further downwards into a tunnel, right? However, that's exactly where you need to go. Exit the spawn room and climb downwards, heading for the open cave ahead of you. Then go down the ladder to your right and you'll see a Site of Grace in the next area. However, you need to actually leave the Sellia Crystal Tunnel to begin fast travelling again.
If you fancy exploring Caelid, though, the image below documents some of the closest points of interest and Sites of Grace. Either way, you can now leave the Sellia Crystal Tunnel behind you and forget about this whole ordeal.

Haha this well and truly got me - although I wasn't actually able to fast travel as soon as I left the tunnel, I had to go all the way across the swamp and find another site of grace (Aeonia swamp shore) before it would unlock
In retrospect, I'm not sure if I actually rested at the site of grace in the tunnel, I think I only activated it (whereas I definitely did rest at the second one, and this is when fast travel unlocked) so I'm not sure if that's what triggers being able to fast travel again
further to that last comment - IGN have a guide on this and they specifically say "you must sit at the Site of Grace to reactivate fast travel. If you only claim the Site of Grace, you won't be able to fast travel" - which makes sense to me after what happened to me, lol
There’s a chest on the west coast of the walking church. It’s in the tower (a ghost looks longingly at) SW of church #4. Open it and get transported to some castle balcony all the way up north, there’s a nasty giant blocking your way forward and a non working elevator. Can just teleport away.
