Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze: Boss Fight Strategy

This boss might be one of the quickest and most agile enemies in the entire game, with quick feet and speedy blows that'll keep you on your toes at all times. They're also able to teleport and enhance their sword with magical powers for extra damage. Basically, you're not getting out of this battle without a scratch or two.

Due to their absurd agility, you'll want to have a finger hovering over the dodge button at all times. Start by learning their attack patterns and when they go to take a breather before dealing damage yourself. Take note that the boss can deflect some of your attacks, and there's one move where it'll deploy magic to grab you and throw you up into the air. All of these attacks must be carefully avoided, either through blocking or dodging. Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze is weak to Bleed, so Bloody Slash works very well against it.

We recommend deploying your Mimic Tear Ashes just after the start of the fight — watch out for the jump attack the boss sometimes uses as soon as you enter the arena — then allow it to take the attention of the boss so you can easily land some attacks from behind.
