Black Knife Catacombs: Walkthrough
Head down the stairs for a Site of Grace and then left down more stairs. Beware the Skeletons and be sure to strike them when they crumble to ensure they don't reanimate. At the end of the corridor is a locked door, so take the left down more stairs, with more Skeletons. These are protected by a Sorcerer, so focus on defeating him around the corner. There's an Imp Statue on the left you can open with a Stonesword Key with the reward being Rosus' Axe.
Go around the corner to the guillotine room with more Skeletons. Ride the second guillotine up to the upstairs opening, and deal with a Sorcerer in the upstairs corridor to kill the Skeletons quickly. Follow the corridor to the end for the first Mist Gate, with the Black Knife Assassin on the other side.
Once defeated, retrace your steps to the corridor shortly before the Black Knife Assassin and fall down the hole on the left. There's a lever here you can pull to open the door at the very beginning of the Black Knife Catacombs. Head through the iron door, out into a swamp-like area with Crabs and Giant Crabs. Loot the Rune Arc, and then climb the ladder. You can also collect Grave Violet and Ghost Glovewort in this area. Follow the path back, through the guillotine room, to the previously locked door and head through the mist for Cemetery Shade.
