Final Fantasy 16: Bygul Location and How to Beat

Bygul is one of the Notorious Mark Hunts in Final Fantasy 16.

Location: Kritten Hollow, Waloed - near the middle of Kritten Hollow, not too far south of the Neverturn forest

Reward: 35 renown, 16,000 gil

Combat Tips:

• Bygul is a supercharged coeurl that basically augments its electric magic with additional spells
• It's likely that you'll be pushed back in terms of distance a lot during this fight, as Bygul will summon electric sigils that you'll need to avoid, while also taking care not to be hit with its more direct projectiles
• Whipcrack is a dangerous move that all coeurls possess, but it Bygul can bring it out when the ground is already covered in sigils. Needless to say, you'll need to be on point with your dodges and your positioning
• It should be noted that Bygul's standard projectile — the straight-shooting bolt that it fires at range — is followed up by two slower projectiles, which can really catch you out if you're used to fighting normal coeurls
