Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Trouble in Paradise Walkthrough

Trouble in Paradise is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that takes place in the Corel Region. As part of our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth guide, we're going to provide a Trouble in Paradise Walkthrough that covers all the stages of the Side Quest.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Trouble in Paradise Walkthrough

Trouble in Paradise can be claimed off the Community Noticeboard at Costa del Sol in the Corel Region, and it comes with a Level 44 recommendation.

Mayor Kapono's Request

Mayor Kapono wants you to help out with a group of monsters at the beach and a merc he initially hired for the job — you'll find him in the restaurant behind the Community Noticeboard.

Track Down the Merc

Your first port of call is to find the merc at the beach in Costa del Sol. Approach Kyrie at her shop to see what's up.

Defeat the Fiends on the Off-Limits Beach

To lure out the fiends on the Off-Limits Beach, you'll need to craft a Legendary Bait using the Item Transmuter feature. In order to craft it, you first need to reach Craftsmanship Level 14. Then to find the necessary materials, you'll need to complete Lifesprings in the Gongaga Region and Cosmo Canyon Region to unlock Classified Intel: The Sultan of Stench and Classified Intel: The Wyvern Awoken in the respective Regions. Completing these activities gives you the materials you need to craft the Legendary Bait.

Having crafted it, return to the Off-Limits Beach and place the Legendary Bait where prompted. You can then beat the monsters that appear.

"Take Care" of the Merc

Go back to Kyrie on the beach in Costa del Sol and talk to her.

Report to Mayor Kapono

Finally, head back to the mayor where you first picked up the Side Quest to complete it.
