Description
Fanged beasts that are sometimes seen traveling in packs. Ruggedly built and extremely aggressive, Doshaguma won't hesitate to throw everything they've got at enemies — even other small monsters. They have been known to take prey back to their dens, which sometimes leads to violent disputes.

Here are a few pointers on how to defeat a Doshaguma in Monster Hunter Wilds.

  • Most of Doshaguma's attacks are from its mouth and forelegs, meaning it's a little safer to target its rear. Fortunately, its tail is a breakable part, which means it's doubly worthwhile.
  • Breaking the monster's forelegs will reduce the potential damage coming at you. When dealing with the front of Doshaguma, watch out for the big wind-up on its attacks — prepare a block or dodge.
  • If and when it's fallen over, attack its belly, which will be open to a beating while it's flailing around.
