Guardian Ebony Odogaron cannot reproduce and do not require food, relying instead on Wyvern Milk for energy. They will attempt to corner targets with flurries of attacks from their well-developed claws and tails.

Here are a few pointers on how to defeat a Guardian Ebony Odogaron in Monster Hunter Wilds.

  • Watch out for attacks from its claws, as these can cause the bleeding status effect. Luckily, its forelegs are a weak spot and breakable, so you can limit how dangerous they are if you focus on them.
  • The tail is similarly a threat, but can be severed, making it far easier to deal with. This and the forelegs should be your main targets.
  • Take full advantage of wounds as they come up, and remember to use elemental Slinger ammo to destroy the Wyvern Milk crystals that form. If you time it right, you can deal a healthy blow to the monster this way.
