How Do You Win as Batman in MultiVersus?
Batman is yet another Bruiser class fighter in MultiVersus, but unlike others, he has access to various tools and tricks that complement his regular attacks. Something else to bear in mind are his various abilities that deal Weakened to foes, which can give you a good upper hand if you stack it.
The Batarang is a key part of Batman's moveset. Fully charged, the item can cover a lot of ground, and you can even influence its flight path slightly. If it connects, it'll give out a stack of Weakened. Try to weave the Batarang into your attacks. His Up Attack also delivers Weakened, and is fairly easy to follow up with after his standard combo.
The smoke bomb special is also extremely useful, and further leans into the Weakened status effect. When you're in the smoke, Batman's attacks will deliver three stacks of it, as well as giving several other bonuses.
The grappling hook on Side Special is great not only for zipping toward enemies, but also for recovery. If you're flung off the side, you can use the grappling hook to either latch onto another player or the arena itself, and Batman will be pulled towards it. Speaking of recovery, if you hold down the jump button in the air, Batman will glide, making it fairly easy to return to the stage.
