PS5 vs PS4: Which Is More Powerful?
There will be no surprises here, but PS5 is vastly more powerful than both PS4 Pro and PS4. Not only does Sony's next-gen system have superior CPUs and GPUs, but its SSD is also significantly faster. For more information on the SSD, refer to the following: PS5 SSD: Why Its Better Than HDD. The only real downside is that, at an unorthodox 825GB, the PS5 has less storage space than PS4 Pro. Other than that, the PS5 smokes its predecessor in every category.

I know that the console itself is going to be $400-500 but I’m more concerned about how much another SSD is going to cost. Is Sony going to charge astronomical amounts like they did with the Vita? I just hope that I don’t have to save up over $1,000 before the release date because I know I’m going to need more storage
@Cowboysfan-22
Well it ain't like VITA.. The allow third party SSD's
So the price will go down in times.
They already confirmed it. As long it's fast/ faster then the Currently Default SSD and fit the size.. It will be compatible! So all is good! Just wait 3-5 years for the SSD to be dirt cheap!
At yet spiderman miles morales isnt 60fps! ! !A confirmed 30fps and not the "60fps " minimum specified. Kinda not sure now .
@SNARF
Neither will AC valhalla on XSX, not that 30 and 60 is a big deal considering the technical factors at play and the fact stable 30fps will be good enough. It's also worth mentioning that the choice of frames may also be a stylistic one, considering movie directors also make this choice consciously all the time, which makes sense, considering the cinematic gaming target that Sony is aiming for. The ps5 is capable if it is wished to be used. More frames =/= better.
Ah heck, 30fps, 60fps...I dont really care as i dont play twitch shooters. I let my Bravia's supreme interpolation capabilities fake it for me. I just wanna see the drop dead gorgeous eye candy thats sure to come in coming years!
@OhYeahNahYeah I was expecting more myself but yes agree with what you say ,it may be stylish. But I'm not 100% pal yet maybe I'll wait it out.
@Cowboysfan-22 you can use a non-proprietary external USB HDD for more storage.
