What Are All Fish Locations and How Do You Catch Them in Stellar Blade?

There are a total of 25 fish to catch in Stellar Blade, and before you can even begin you'll need to learn How to Fish . Once you've got to grips with the minigame, you can begin capturing all different types of aquatic wildlife. Remember, you can keep tabs of all the fish you've caught, along with your personal records in the Data Bank . Catching all 25 fish will unlock the Ocean Maid outfit.
Fish are divided into the following categories: Small , Medium , Large , Gigantic , and Jumbo . The type of bait you use as well as the fishing spot location you select will influence the type of fish you can catch. Below we've listed all fish locations and how to catch them.
Small Fish
There are 6 Small Fish to catch. They are as follows:
Goldfish

The Goldfish is a freshwater fish belonging to the Carp family and is a well-known species of ornamental fish. Originating from East Asia, the Red Carp, a generic variant, was first raised in a pond. This began the breeding of Goldfish. Young Goldfish usually have a dark glow, but they develop beautiful colours and patterns as they grow.
Mudskipper

The Mudskipper is a fish belonging to the Oxudercidae family. There are over 2,000 varieties of this fish. It varies greatly in size, ranging from large ones with a length of 30cm to small ones measuring 1 to 1.5cm in length. Interesting, it has evolved special fins for sticking to walls or crawling on the ground.
Betta

Bettas are tropical fish that are characterised by their flamboyant colours, patterns, and fins. They have an auxiliary respiratory organ called the 'Labyrinth' that enables them to live in environments with low oxygen. The males show strong aggression toward those that invade their territory, causing them to be called the 'fighting fish'.
Butterflyfish

Butterflyfish belong to the Chaetodontidae family. They inhabit coral reefs and are popular ornamental fish due to their brilliant colour and beautiful swimming style.
Porcupinefish

Porcupinefish belong to the Diodontidae family. They grow to about 40cm and are characteristically short and thick. When threatened, they inflate their bodies by inhaling water or air. Their spikes evolved from their scales and are mainly used to intimidate enemies.
Lobster

Lobster is the generic name for crustaceans belonging to the Lobster family. They shed their shells and sometimes live over 100 years. Lobsters are generally eaten boiled or grilled and are known for their good flavour. When cooked, their body turns red.

The Flying Fish is a fish belonging to the Exocoetidae family. Its body is streamlined and about 30-40cm long. This fish uses fins that are shaped like wings to glide and fly up to hundreds of metres.
Triggerfish

The Triggerfish is a fish belonging to the Balistidae family. It is mainly found in waters of the Indian and Western Pacific Oceans, and can grow up to 30 to 50cm in the wild. It is also widely known as a ferocious fish for its size with a bad temper.

Sea Bass

The Channel Catfish is a freshwater fish belonging to the Catfish family, native to North America. Its olfactory receptors are very developed, resulting in a sharp sense of smell and taste. It is 30 to 50cm long and inhabits large and small rivers, reservoirs, lakes, and ponds.
Salmon

The Salmon is a fish from the Salmonidae family. It is famous for its meaty texture and good taste, and thus is popular as an ingredient, often smoked or grilled. As is typical for migratory fish, it is born in rivers and lives in the sea. During breeding season, it goes back up the river and lays eggs upstream. Salmon grow up to 70cm while in the sea.

Ocean Sunfish are very large fish belonging to the Sunfish family. They can grow up to 4m in length and weigh up to 2 tons. They lay over 300 million eggs at a time, but only a small fraction of them develop into adults. They're known to be gentle, despite their large size.

Sailfish belong to the Marlin family. They're characterised by their sail-shaped dorsal fin and are known as one of the fastest fish in the world. They can grow up to 3m in length. They hunt their prey with sharp beaks, so you need to be careful not to get stabbed when fishing.

Pirarucu is the largest freshwater fish in the world. It inhabits the Amazon River, Orinoco River, and Guyana. The fish grows up to 5-6m. It is characterised by sticking its head out of the water and storing air in its bladder to breathe.
Great White Shark

The Great White Shark is a one of the largest predatory fish in the world and is known as the top predator of the sea. Shark grows until they die, so there are records of individuals exceeding 7m in length. A very skilled hunter, this shark hunts prey quietly and quickly.

Whale Sharks are known to be the largest fish. They can grow up to 20m in length, live up to 70 years, and are mainly found in warm tropical regions. Whale Sharks are gentle in nature and do not attack humans.
Dunkleosteus

Dunkleosteus is a fish that prospered from the Palaeozoic to the Devonian. It's similar to Placoderms, a primitive fish. It can grow up to 9 metres long and is widely known as the ancestor of all vertebrates.
Where Are All Fishing Spot Locations in Stellar Blade?

While you can technically equip Eve's fishing rod and use it anywhere in Stellar Blade's world, only a select few bodies of water are inhabited by sea life. There are 6 fishing spot locations to discover, each of which has different fish available to catch. Below we've explained where to find them all.
Great Desert Oasis
In the middle of the Great Desert , next to where you find Clyde .
Xion Pond
South of the Tetrapod in Xion .
Wasteland Cave
Directly north of the Solar Tower in the Wasteland .
Wasteland Plant
In the far south-eastern corner of the Wasteland map.
Eidos 7 Pool
In the area directly beneath the Clock Tower in Eidos 7 .
Where Do You Find the Fantastic Bait in Stellar Blade?

In order to catch all fish in Stellar Blade, you'll need the Fantastic Bait . This is unlocked as part of a string of Bulletin Board Missions , which require you to complete the following quests: Fish Research , A Gift for a Fishing Maniac , and Where Is the Fantastic Bait? .
In order to complete Where Is the Fantastic Bait? , you'll first need to fill your Data Bank with the information on 20 different fish. You can follow this guide for all fishing spot locations, the best bait to use, and where to find certain species. Once you've got 20, visit Clyde in the Great Desert and ask him About the Fantastic Bait . You'll then be able to visit Roxanne in Xion and purchase Information: Fantastic Bait .
Armed with this information, you'll be able to travel to the Wasteland Plant fishing spot location, dive underwater, and enter the gap at the back of the pool. Follow the path until you reach a crate, and open it with the code ∅∅∅βββ . This will unlock the Fantastic Bait , which you can use to catch two Jumbo Fish in the Great Desert .
