Looking for how to unlock alternate costumes and outfits in Street Fighter 6? You're probably going to want to be dressed to impress when you take your favourite fighter online, and may be wondering how to change up your chosen character's threads. On this page, as part of our Street Fighter 6 guide, we're going to explain how to unlock alternate costumes and outfits.
Street Fighter 6: How to Unlock Alternate Costumes and Outfits
By default, on day one, each character in Street Fighter 6 has one costume. You can purchase a second outfit by opening the Multi Menu with the Options buttons and browsing to Shop > Costumes. Costumes can only be bought with Fighter Coins, which can be bought with real money from the PS Store. However, there is an alternative, free method to unlock these.
In the RPG-inspired single player World Tour mode, each character you meet will come with a Bond Level attached. You can increase this by offering Gifts and completing Missions. Once you reach Bond Level 100 with a Master, you'll unlock their Outfit 2 for free. You'll be notified in the Rewards section of the Multi Menu to confirm. If you need help raising Bond Levels, then you can find the Best Gifts to Increase Bond Levels with All World Tour Masters through the link.
Quickest Way to Unlock Alternate Costumes and Outfits
The quickest way to unlock Street Fighter 6's alternate costumes and outfits is, unsurprisingly, to buy them with Fighter Coins. Of course, if you don't want to spend real-money — and we don't blame you — then we'd recommend repeatedly playing Scrap Heap in World Tour after eating Corn Flex from the Deliveries app. This will enable you to earn around 10,000 Zenny every 10 to 15 seconds. You can then use the money to buy your Masters their best gifts, increasing their Bond Levels quickly.
