Tales of Arise Devil's Arms - How They Work
The Devil's Arms are a set of devilish looking weapons that you can find in Tales of Arise. As mentioned, the Devil's Arms have appeared in previous Tales games, and are usually the strongest weapons that you can find.
Each character in Tales of Arise has their own Devil's Arm.
However, there's a catch...
The base stats for the Devil's Arms are very low to begin with. In order to realise their power, you need to defeat enemies. A lot of enemies.
For every enemy that a character defeats in battle, their Devil's Arm's stats will increase by 1 point.
So, if Alphen has defeated 3000 enemies over the course of the game, when you find his Devil's Arm, its Attack and Elemental Attack stats will be 3000. This will make it his strongest weapon by far — but it all depends on how many enemies you've defeated with that specific character.
Once you've acquired a Devil's Arm, you can continue to increase its power by defeating enemies.
The key points to remember are:
- Devil's Arms stats are based on how many enemies that character has defeated in battle.
- Enemies defeated by your computer controlled allies count towards their own Devil's Arms stats.
- You do not need to equip the Devil's Arm in order to boost its power.
- Enemies defeated before finding a Devil's Arm still count towards its stat boosts.
- Devil's Arms stats carry over into New Game+. For more information on how to carry equipment over to New Game+, check out the following guide:
