I will watch it. Thank you for the date and time!
Can't wait to see what Xbox bring!
I'm hoping for a sneak peek at Hogwarts Legacy, Evil West and Gotham Knights 🤞
Hopefully, it isn't an embarrassing, boring mess like last year.
Hopefully....
@Divergent95 @thehappyaerithch These should both be very reasonable expectations, here's hoping they are covered at Gamescom!
I'm there! Thanks for this post
Looking forward to this.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Let's go!
Watching it for the sake of the Kojima Ruse Cruise.
Honestly though, if nothing else, I’m just hoping for a release date for that TMNT game. If that shadow drops today, that’s the low stakes surprise I’d like. Going in with low expectations, but seriously hope it is better than the Xbox presentation yesterday.
Don't need to watch this live, I'll just wait for the recap here.
@ApostateMage It'll be about damn time !!!
Good timing for me. Doesn’t hurt to switch to it for a chill evening with no special expectation.
Good man Geoff bringing some positivity which is a change from the negativity thirsty press influencing the mass.
no way i forgot about gamescom
@somnambulance I believe the TMNT game is confirmed to make some kind of appearance so a release date is probably likely to be there as well.
XBOX seem to have underwhelmed so far, but I feel like they managed expectations appropriately.
It's almost like no matter what you do to prepare for these events, if you don't do something amazing all you come away with is bad PR.
Nintendo and Sony's way of doing these things is looking a lot safer.
@somnambulance I honestly am wondering if they'll shadow drop that too.. It sort of might've been alluding to that the way I read the article. That's on me of course but yeah.. that would be a real nice gift for today and an unbearably slow week for me!
@Shepherd_Tallon I'll be very surpurprised if that's all we here about Xbox. The news that cloud gaming is coming to console was a great get - the potential of streaming games to try them before downloading was one thing psnow had over gamepass. And the fact that this allows them to move on from generation 8 faster is a good thing. Hopefully Sony follow.
But no footage of Halo is concerning. I'm personally hoping they'll show it tonight.
As for Sony. I think it's going to be hard keeping expectations in check when they e been so quiet. Playstation players are crawling the walls needing to hear something by now. I don't think we'll get any big first party reveals. Maybe there's chance for some 3rd party exclusive surprises though. Otherwise expect Abandoned to start getting attention again till they finally announce a state of play.
I will just watch the recap... there is no need to watch it live. That Xbox gamescom showcase yesterday was 90 minutes of awful.
Hopefully theirs some good surprise announcements.
