New Patch Adds Competitive Ranking To Wipeout HD.

The ranking system will allow players to earn badges in online multiplayer games and subsequently bolster their rank. The update will come in the form of a free patch downloadable from the PSN.

The patch also includes friend invite support and a spectator mode if you join a game already in progress.

We only wish we could say that there were some new tracks being added too.
