Six PlayStation heroes — one motion controller. That could be the voiceover for PlayStation Move Heroes, the new Move-exclusive game on sale from today across North America.
Sly, Bentley, Jak, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank all join forces in an intergalactic shindig that uses Move in a host of new ways: whips, flying discs, hammers and more all come to life with PlayStation Move controls. Unfamiliar with who these characters are? Meet the PlayStation Heroes: Sly Cooper and Bentley introduces a third of the line-up, and we'll have profiles for the other characters too.
If you haven't already got Move, there's an exclusive PlayStation Move Heroes bundle at Toys 'R' Us that contains a PlayStation Eye, Move controller and copy of the game on Blu-ray for $99.99. You'll still need a Navigation or DualShock controller though, so bear that in mind.
There's a free demo available now in North America and Europe in case you want to try before you buy, and of course we'll be reviewing PlayStation Move Heroes in the near future.

cant wait to see the review, I admit after playing the demo that I had fun. But at the same time it felt a lot like motion controls tacked on and not really 1:1 in any aspect, defeating the purpose of not also supporting dual shock.
I was scared to download that huge demo!
The move controller is required to play but if you don't have a navigation controller you will need to use the dual shock analog stick to move the
characters. After trying the demo the game seems more like a collection of
mini-games.
I meant the game should offer dual shock as an alternative to Move, the sixaxis controls in the dual shock will be more then capable of handling the bowling and frisby games and the other games the weapon could be controlled with the right stick.
PS Plus free trial of the game (for SCEA atleast) comes out tomorrow if anyone is interested in killing their monthly bandwidth for an hour of play.
IGN just posted a very average review score for this- 5/10. not a good start. But then IGN aren't exactly trustworthy with their reviews.
cant spell IGNorant without IGN they also dont put the price point in consideration when posting review scores, as this game is only $40 compared to the kinect games at $50 and compared to regular games at $60.
they also dont punish games who try to charge $70 like fable 3 did.
In the US this got pushed back to Thursday on the PSN and most stores didn't have it in on Tuesday and Amazon had a 2 to 4 week wait or shipping, not a very good start.
Thanks to whoever mentioned you really need the Navigator but it isn't in the TRU bundle. Should be a crime to sell a "bundle" but not bundle what you need. And yes I know it's playable with the DS3, but not if your 6 or 8 years old as my sons are. Sure they can "hold" it in one hand, but holding it isn't the same as playing with it. We're not happy. Anyway thanks for mentioning it b/c nobody else ever does.
I love how there is a whole site dedicated for the Move fans! I feel out of the loop, but I have really been wanting to get the Move...can someone kind of feel me in on other games that are worthy of purchasing.. I have some extra money to spend, and want to spend wisely
Well depends on what type of games you like? If you are into FPS and shooting games then definately get Killzone 3, Time Crisis and SOCOM 4. If you are into casual or some fun for the kids and family then get Sports Champion, Start the Party, SingStar Dance, Flight Control (cheap on PSN) and Tumble. There are other sports titles like Tiger Woods if you are interested.
I've tried Playstation Move Heroes and it's actually quite fun and I actually think it's better then Start The Party but could be my personal preference. I think Move Heroes deserves much better score then what IGN has given which I think is appalling. The game is designed for the younger audience and casuals. Yes the game plays like a collection of mini games but it's well thought out. I think the reviewers needs to judge the game for what it is a casual game for a younger audience and not for what Ratchet & Clank, Jax and Daxter, Bentley and Cooper games originally were which were longer and more story driven. I think the game deserves a 7.5/10 and certainly not a 5 cough cough IGN.
