We're almost certain the next iteration of the FIFA franchise, FIFA 12, will be a brilliant slice of sporting simulation, but the amount of buzz-words being tossed about by EA Sports' David Rutter during the game's GamesCom presentation were a little bit worrying.
In the old days of FIFA mediocrity, buzz-words and gimmicks were what EA Sports used to get people to upgrade to the latest game — often to the detriment of the actual gameplay. We're hopeful that there's a pay-off to all this chatter of "revolutionary precision dribbling" and "next generation AI".
Knowing the ambition and endeavour of the current FIFA team, we're sure there will be.
