PlayStation Vita's One Step Closer To Release In North America.

After this morning's rumours that PlayStation Vita might be delayed in Europe, Engadget's reporting that the device has passed FCC clearance in North America. Engadget explains that this "is widely regarded as the final step before a consumer electronics device is shipped to retailers here in the States". The take-away seems to be that this is early too.

It's not proof of anything just yet, but it's certainly a good sign.
