There are physics degrees that are easier to understand than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s DLC release schedule. Activision’s somehow managed to lock the DLC behind so many exclusivity windows that we’ve given up trying to understand it all. First there’s the XBOX 360 window, then there’s the Call of Duty Elite window, then there’s... You get the idea.
Anyway, here’s what Activision has specifically told us: the Overwatch map is coming to PS3 Elite subscribers on 29th March. It will be followed by Black Box and two new Spec Ops maps – Black Ice and Negotiator – “on or around 12th April”. The vague window is due to Activision not having a clear idea of when Sony will update the PlayStation Store, which, we’re sure you’ll agree, makes things way easier to understand.
We must admit we've seen a severe drop off in the number of our PSN friends playing Call of Duty over the past six months. Is anyone excited for the DLC?
