PlayStation Portable’s popular rhythmic role-playing game Patapon 3 will become PlayStation Vita compatible in North America next week, Sony has announced. The snippet was confirmed on the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast, to the reception of chants across the globe. You know how it goes.
As Joystiq rightly points out, predecessors Patapon and Patapon 2 are already compatible with the platform holder’s latest handheld. Now all we need is a brand new entry.

I really liked the demo, so I'll get it for Vita. Though it'll probably look better on the PSP...
Now, SEGA, please stop messing about and give Valkyria Chronicles 2 (and its dlc) full Vita support.
Oh dear, merciful god, thank you for enlightening those at Sony and bringing us the best Patapon game over to Vita!
I hope this is a marketing ploy to promote the series and that they announce Patapon 4 for Vita Tuesday
Praise be the grand and merciful Sony lords that finally made this happen! I've recently been seriously considering buy a PSP mostly just to play this game(and a few imports)
@ThreadShadow
I know it's not full Vita support but you can play it on the Vita if you sideload it from a PS3 (and maybe a PC, I not 100% sure but I would think you can)
patapon 3 is a rpg?
@JavierYHL It has an RPG element to it, there's multiple characters and they level up, plus you find loot and can unlock new characters after you level up enough.
