Drinkbox Studios’ delightful Mexican wrestler-themed Metroidvania adventure Guacamelee! will piledrive the PlayStation 3 and Vita on 9th April in North America and 10th April in Europe. The title puts you behind the luchador mask of a humble agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who learns that he has a knack for wrestling moves when he embarks on a quest to rescue El Presidente’s Daughter from the clutches of an Evil Charro Skeleton.
As with most other cross-platform releases these days, the title will support cross-buy, meaning that you’ll only need to pay once to play the game on both the PS3 and Vita. Given the scale of the release, it will also boast a Platinum Trophy, promising plenty of bang for your buck. Sadly, there’s no word on a European price point just yet, but the title will cost $14.99 in North America. Check out the latest trailer below, and let us know if you’re ready to step into the ring in the comments section.

Really looking forward to this. They haven't said anything about cross-save between the two yet have they? And how exactly does the cross-play using Vita as a remote work again for this game?
Anything by drinkbox studio, is worth it. Great games makers.
This really looks spicy, so I might have to buy this.
This has been my most anticipated release yet! Perhaps more than Soul Sacrifice because I am a big fan of Mexican/Latin History, Cuisine and Culture.
Played a demo for the Vita version when I was at Target a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Been looking forward to the final version for a while now and have fairly high expectations so hopefully it won't disappoint.
