The imminent summer breeze looks set to blow a gift in the form of thatgamecompany’s beautiful Flower onto the PlayStation Vita. While publisher Sony’s yet to officially confirm the port, the title rooted itself on IndieCade’s exhaustive E3 lineup, prompting the folks over at Shacknews to take notice. According to the site, the title will take advantage of both touch and motion controls. We’re just imagining how pretty it’s going to look on the portable’s pinsharp OLED screen.
We’ve reached out to the platform holder in order to try and get clarification on this, so hopefully all will be cleared up in the coming days. Meanwhile, the other PlayStation titles set to feature as part of IndieCade’s booth include Sportsfriends’ uber-popular Johann Sebastian Joust, unique Western party title QuickDraw, and Honeyslug’s intriguing Hohokum. You can peruse the full lineup through here.

Oh please let this exist great gods of gaming!
I know! This would be great on Vita, on a 3hrs plane ride especially.
The question is will there be a Journey port? <3
I always question motion controls on portables because you are potentially moving the screen out of optimum viewing range. On PS3 you were of course just moving the controller.
Anyway, absolutely beautiful game. I may give it a shot on Vita, should Sony lower the memory card price.
I'm praying Journey comes to Vita as well at some point, but Flower is a good start. Just... a console with both Persona 4 Golden and Journey available on it - I'd be set for life.
This is nice news, I do love flower. The question I have is will this be cross-buy or do I have to buy another copy...
