Indie favourite Thomas Was Alone may be acclimatising to its new console quarters as we type, but that’s not stopped designer Mike Bithell from plotting plans for the PlayStation 4. Hot on the heels of the puzzle platformer’s release on the PlayStation 3 and Vita, the British-based developer has hinted that his next project may be in the works for Sony’s impending machine.
“I do believe #Project2 is looking good enough to show to Sony tomorrow,” he revealed on Twitter last night. “You’ll know the success of this meeting in a year, when you are / are not playing it on your PS4.”
Bithell followed up earlier today, stating that it was “really good chatting to the guys”, and that indie developers should “get chatting to Sony now”. The developer also revealed that he finally got his hands on the DualShock 4, which supposedly “feels tight”. He added: “They've also done something aesthetically that I'm not sure I've seen in images online which I really love.”
Your guess is as good as ours. Still, more indie love for our favourite unreleased console gets a firm thumbs up from us – especially when the guy behind the brilliant Thomas Was Alone is involved.
