French publisher Ubisoft has been spending too much time with Sam Fisher. The company confirmed that Splinter Cell: Blacklist is finished today, and that it’s ready for manufacturing ahead of release. Of course, you could be forgiven for forgetting that the stealth adventure's deploying in the first place, as it’s been lurking in the shadows for much of the year.
Fortunately, the title actually looks pretty good. In addition to glad tidings about the game's development status, the firm also supplied IGN with a seven minute trailer, which details everything from gear to play styles. It’s narrated by an annoying jobsworth, but if you can get past that, it offers a good overview of the experience. Is the sneaky excursion on your radar? Let us know in the comments section below.

A splinter cell game without Michael Ironside. Its almost like playing a Metal Gear Solid game without David Hay.....I dont want to live in this world anymore =P
@SuperSilverback I* hear that. SO has Splinter Cell finally returned to its roots? I honestly know feck all about this game lol Loved Splinter Cell last gen but my has it fallen this generation. A return to the shadowed sneakathon of old would interest me
@MadchesterManc It looks like it's 'play how you want' - which is a good compromise, I guess. It's amazing how little hype there is for this game, though.
Im tempted to pick up the HD trilogy to remember the good old days. And by god old days i mean failing the mission for killing a guard =P
@get2sammyb Well its a start a suppose. Might give it a go when the price drops. I know what you mean about the little hype, id only just heard about this game a few weeks ago lol Theres nothing much about for the game
@SuperSilverback oh man I remember that lol Hardcore Splinter Cell. Ive seen the trilogy going for about £8 preowned so its easily worth that price. I think they used the PC versions for the collection, not much of a remaster but it deos look better than it did last gen (the 3D aint too good tho. Probably just tacked on at the last minute)
I think i'll see how the wii u version uses the game pad for this one. What I really want is a brand new old school splinter cell for vita.
