Remember at E3 when Microsoft executive Phil Spencer kept switching his shirts? He started the company’s press conference donning a State of Decay tee, but went through more costume changes than Lady GaGa during the firm’s hour-long keynote in Los Angeles.
Never one to miss an opportunity to turn the knife, Sony’s own Adam Boyes mimicked the Microsoft Game Studios head during the platform holder’s PAX Prime 2013 panel overnight – with a rather fetching blazer and ‘Token Indie Logo’ top combo. Take a bow, son.
Even Spencer himself was pretty impressed with the jab, telling Boyes on Twitter that “he’s getting one of those shirts”. The likeable PlayStation man responded that it can be arranged. It’s nice to see that these shots are being fired in the right spirit. We’re eagerly awaiting Microsoft’s response.

Funny, but a little childish to two giant companies.
@ferrers405 Haha, it is - but I actually thought this one was pretty funny. It seems like it was all done in good humour.
This is hilarious. I love it.
@ferrers405: When you get down to it, the kind of competition Sony and Microsoft have going is INHERENTLY childish. They're just being a little more open about it than usual as of late.
@ferrers405 Eh, let them throw jabs. These guys are cooped up in stuffy offices all day, they deserve to have fun every now and then.
@Lelouch
I agree
@Lelouch Here Here! Corporate faces or not, these guys are people too, and good-natured humo(u)r just makes them more human.
Boyles and Spencer are my two favorites at each company so its awesome. Real talk I want all the shirts.
Not sure which side of the coin i'll fall on first at launch.
Most of the time I find that the back-and-forth is childish and, in some cases, downright idiotic, but this was funny.
Haha, I love all this ribbing going on. Very entertaining.
Whether you like it or not you gotta admit this jab is pretty hilarious.
