There’s a distinct lack of Patapon in the PlayStation Vita’s portfolio right now, but indie outfit Disco Pixel is hoping to stuff that musical void with its upcoming simian strut off Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness, and Bananas. Much like Sony’s rhythmic role-playing game, the release sees you drumming to control a tribe of monkeys, who must steal their bananas back from a rival band of primate opponents.
Already available on mobile platforms, this re-release will include a brand new tutorial to help get you up to speed, more levels, and even “badder beats” than ever before. You can catch a glimpse of the title in action courtesy of the video embedded below. Is this the kind of title that you’d like to monkey around with? This reminds me of a game on the CBC or CBA were you had to train monkeys to box, and you could breed them to make stronger monkeys with ultra moves....good times

@SuperSilverback Monkey Puncher - first game I ever bought!
@SteveButler2210 @SuperSilverback I've never heard of this game, but it sounds amazing. Searching for YouTube videos now.
Sammy why did you have to remind me of the lack of Patapon in my life.
