Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is strapping on its Exosuit and getting ready to rocket jump onto your PlayStation 4 – but how many multiplayer maps will launch with the first-person shooter? Writing on Twitter, Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that you’ll get 14 maps out of the box, though you’ll need to purchase a Season Pass to access Atlas Gorge, which is a remake of Pipeline from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This extra arena will also come with the game’s Atlas Edition and Limited Edition as well.
In addition to the battlefield tally, Condrey also confirmed that the futuristic foray will come with a mode similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s popular League Play. This will see you compete against the community over the course of a month, with your final standing recognised with a unique piece of loot. In truth, this seems like another reason for you to quit your job and dedicate your life to becoming a professional Call of Duty player. Sure, the money may be rubbish – but at least you’ll get in-game gear that others can only dream of.

I don't plan on buying the season pass and it's been a long time since I last bought a CoD game. Will they offer stuff like Atlas Gorge without the season pass? The people who pay up front for the season pass deserve some kinds of perks so I don't mind waiting a bit, but I can't see myself spending enough time in multiplayer to make it worth dropping another $50 or whatever they're asking for. I would like to buy that remade map though.
Wish the would make a COD4 remake anniversary , COD4 it's still the best
Why do they always remake lesser maps, well lesser imo. Where's backlot or ambush
The thing that annoys me with gaming nowadays is the fact that you buy the game normal edition for near enough £50 - £60 then you have to buy season pass which is a further £30 - £40 then they release more things in the game for what they call a bargain £1.49 then they release more of them so overall spend on 1 single game to play for 1 year then to be forgotten about in time is £100 - £110 where is the justice in that amount of money between say 100,000 players buy the season pass for argueme ts sake say 100,000 don't they still make a fortune on this franchise even if they didn't have season pass to me gaming has become more of spending money than making great games not to mention you've got to buy PS plus for £40 a year to play online anyway so it's even worse
@Karltellis91 I agree, but the best thing to do if you don't like it/don't think it's worth it is to not buy it. Publishers will quickly get the message once it hits their bottom line.
Ps plus is def worth 50 for a whole year.... gonna be playing this on both machines but think I might get the pads for wuch ever community I game with this online on more!
So many games. So little time. I promised myself to play more rpg and action adventure titles because ive been playing bf4 allmost solely. I did manage to evade the destiny hype though and im pretty glad about that. I can see most people are allready bored or fed up with it
@Karltellis91 You can blame that season pass on Bobby Kotick from Activision. He stated a few times that he wanted to make games more expensive, but instead of just jacking up prices for activision games only, he decided to go with a stealth option of buying a season pass, so the game is a total of $90. Then the other game development companies followed that type of plan for games. Now I don't know of Activision was the first to put out those season passes, but he were the main company to make it stick out more.
In the end, for Call of Duty sake, I will buy the season pass because I know what I'm getting. It's the only game I will buy a season pass for. I won't do it for any other company. Since EA/DICE Battlefield series went to @#$%, I won't be getting that game anymore as Hardline looks more like DLC and the police thing on it doesn't make sense to what the game is actually designed for. CoD all the way for me, I like the CoD games.
