Tasuki told us to tell y'all: 2K Games has signed a "multi-year" deal with WWE ensuring that it will continue publishing sweaty men simulators for the foreseeable future. Tasuki also politely asked yours truly not to say anything derogatory during this article so that he doesn't have to clean up the comments section. It's the beginning of the end: Push Square has been gagged.
To be honest, though, there's not a whole lot to add to this article. Yuke's will almost certainly continue making the games, as it's been doing since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Similarly, fans will buy the releases, then subsequently moan about how rubbish they are when they inevitably disappoint. As for us? We'll keep our gobs shut and Google Becky Lynch… So that we can "research" her bizarre accent, obvs.

Lol. I knew we could finally come to an understanding @get2sammyb.
Now that that demand has been met how are you coming along with the others?
Becky Lynch? It's all about Sasha Banks...
2K16 was really good in my opinion, most fun I've had with a wrestling game in years. No bemoaning from me! Plus, next year there'll be Samoa Joe vs A.J Styles in a WWE game, which is both surreal and amazing. I'll probably get it anyway since I enjoy 2K16 so much, but if they put some effort into the Women's division as well this year it's a day one buy for sure.
I would really like a playable WWE game
@Splat Legit BOSS <3
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi WWF Superstars by Technos Japan. It's still my favourite wrestling game (except maybe Epyx Championship Wrestling on the C64).
anybody else not watched WWF/WWE in so long that you actually had to google Becky Lynch?
One of these days @get2sammyb I will make a believer out of you. Not with this current generation of wrestling games, mind. We will have to go dig deep in the past.
@Shiryu
Except for they seemingly aren't the best representations of something you either seemingly rabidly like or have no interest in, with no middle ground so "converting" someone means either they have to bang out a good game that people like despite the fact they still don't "get" wrestling.
Or you have to convince them that wrestling is good, and they'll forgive a not the best game.

@hi_drnick smackdown vs raw and pit fighter on megadrive, not exactly wrestling though
Let me know when Yukes is out of the picture. I might give the franchise another try then.
I still haven't played 2k16 yet, WWE games have kind of lost their magic IMO.
I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I've enjoyed the recent games (haven't played 2K16 though). Yeah, they're not the greatest games, my favorite is still SvR 2006, but they're pretty enjoyable outside of the early day bugs. I do hope the developers don't get stagnant though. But that's difficult with sports titles.
And Becky Lynch is forever bae. Just saying.
@DerMeister knows what's up.
Oh Becky Lynch, how my heart yearns for thee...
As far as wrestling games are concerned, I'm still partial to the run of games that were on the N64. WCW vs the World-WWE No Mercy. Those games were a time sink for me. I still have them all.
@Unashamed_116 I haven't played any of the newer WWE games, but do they put NXT roster on them? Though I'd imagine I could always create a Samoa Joe if not. I'm excited about the prospect of AJ Styles vs Joe. Too bad James Storm didn't stick around long enough.
#TeamEmma
@Sir_JBizzle This one is the only one with a serious NXT presence. There's Zayn, Balor, Corbin, The Vaudevillains, Enzo & Cass, a couple of others...Samoa Joe is in there, but only in a DLC pack that released a few weeks ago I think. Still, I'd say that means he'll be in the next game right from the start, especially since the NXT presence in these games is only growing and he's much more prominent than he was at this time last year.
A.J Styles went straight to the main roster, so he should be in regardless
