If you've been waiting for an opportunity to snap up a PlayStation 4, then perhaps this Street Fighter V set will entice you to rise up. The bundle – launching in Europe next month – includes a 1TB Jet Black console, a Jet Black DualShock 4, and a physical copy of Street Fighter V. There's no custom hard drive panel like in Japan, which is a bit of a missed opportunity if you ask us.
Nevertheless, we reckon that this should sell reasonably well given the Capcom sequel is one of the first big PlayStation exclusives of the year. Sony hasn't disclosed a price yet, but we wouldn't expect it to cost much more than £350 at competitive retailers. Will you be grappling this one like Zangief? Just popped in to give you a round of applause for that headline.
Stellar. Just stellar.
I'd imagine Sony will start the hype train for this soon.
PS4 bundle with game > custom PS4 but no game
Not my thing, can't get excited, but it bodes well for 1TB with Uncharted 4. I pre-ordered Ratchet and Clank last night - $32 w/ Prime discount - w/o even owning a PS4 thinking U4 bundle 2 weeks later was close enough.
Nice that it is 1TB AND physical copy. I hated how my Uncharted bundle has a code for the stripped down remasters.
@rjejr
Then pray to the Release Date gods that @Gamer83 is not right in that they will delay it. TBH I agree with him.
But preordering is not a bad thing. I actually preordered both special editions of SFV and U4 way before getting my PS4. And now Amazon has applied that GCU like discount so win-win. I wish my Xenoblade X had that benefit.
@Gamer83 I was going to buy Injustice yesterday morning but the $60 worth of DLC turned me off. Game was for my kid and I didn't want to deal with going over it all with him to see what he wanted to buy. I get enough of that with SSB. So we pre-ordered DI Marvel Battlegrounds for $25 instead. We already own most of those toys, and it's 4 player. Comes out same time as Pokken Tournament so we'll have plenty of fighting, don't need this either (In an obvious attempt to make my comment on topic. )
@rjejr Isn't there a complete version of Injustice?
@sinalefa Gamer is the Pushsquare version of NL me, of course he thinks it's going to be delayed again. I think Zelda U is 2017.
Didn't know you had Prime. Mine expires next week so I'm pre-ordering a bunch of stuff hoping Amazon honors the price if not the delivery method. Not U4 as I'm waiting on that imaginary bundle. And I'm OK with a delay, mid July would be nice.
@get2sammyb Not for $6.99 on Wit U on sale last week. Unless it was, but I seriously doubt it. I'm surprised Wii U even had the DLC. There were about 18 items, 99c to $4.99. If there were a $20 bundle like DBXV I might have purchased it. It wasn't something we wanted, just something I was looking at for $6.99.
@get2sammyb
The complete version is only for PS360. Of course. I found out the hard way too.
And talking about complete editions, why didn't PushSquare make an article regarding Mortal Kombat XL? I found out via PureXbox, and somewhere else that it also applied to PS4.
@rjejr
I did take the plunge on Prime last September, when they discounted it to $66. I asked the League of Amiibo Hunters and they told me that it was good, although not as good as Bestbuy's GCU. That was of course before Amazon added this new GCU-like discount. I love it since BB won't ship to me but Amazon will.
Also, Gamer is not the same, as he never types Snoy or Syon or Soyn
@rjejr
LOL. I'm just thinking, Sony doesn't want to bury Ratchet & Clank which has an opportunity to be a pretty big hit with its budget price and the movie. If it turns out to be a great game and gets just a modest advertising campaign, it's possible it could do very well. Another thing I'm factoring in is that MS has done a great job with its exclusive fighter Killer Instinct. Street Fighter is a bigger name and if V lives up to the series pedigree and Sony handles it as well as MS has KI, it could have some serious longevity and even help push a few consoles until Uncharted in say, June or even September. It's also clear Naughty Dog hasn't had its sh*t together this gen. Maybe not a popular opinion, but I don't care, that's the way I see it. The studio was much more efficient last gen. There is no way in hell I believe we'll get more than 2 big releases from ND this gen.
@get2sammyb
Pretty sure only PlayStation gamers were lucky enough to get the complete version. Unless it was also on 360. I know as far as current-gen consoles only PS4 got the 'Ultimate Edition.'
@sinalefa Not fair, I can type Sony. sony Sony Sony. OK, I missed 1 shift key, that's pretty good for me.
Had I seen Prime for $66 I might have re-signed. We only have it b/c it was free w/ an AmEx credit card. $99 is a bit much. If they had Dr Who on Prime we'd pay it, paying $10/month to watch it on Netflix now. And living in NY, even w/o Prime I get everything free shipping in 3 to 5 days anyway. Can you watch Prime shows? They are limited, but they have HBO shows.
@rjejr
Of course you can type Sony, you love Sony. But since you cannot type Nintendo, then Gamer would need to mistype Sony to be your alter ego lol.
Also, Prime was at $73 like a week ago, a few days after they announced the gaming discount, probably to entice a few new buyers. I technically can watch the Prime shows but I am not really into TV shows so I haven't tried. May need a VPN for that since I am in Costa Rica.
@Gamer83 "Naughty Dog hasn't had its sh*t together this gen."
They do seem to be losing people left and right. But then again, nobody has had their stuff together this gen. Either games are on time and look like AC5, or seem incomplete like Destiny. I think the list of games that have been delayed is longer than those released on time. A lot of that is Wii U though - Rayman, Pikmin 3, Watch_Dogs, Project Cars - no wait that one got canceled, but I think technically it was delayed first. Batman. And pretty much anything by Squenix.
You know better than I, how much control does Sony have over ND regarding the release date? Could ND say "it's done, release it now, we need to get paid", but then Sony says "no, wait until summer so we can bundle it w/ the PS4 Slim"?
I do think R&C would get more love if it were an all new $60 title, but as a budget remake Sony may not think it's worth much effort. The movie releases 3 days after U4, 2 weeks after the game. That tells me something right there, why not release the game same time as the movie? Maybe they will both move? I'm still annoyed Disney delayed SW 7 months. Is nothing sacred?
@sinalefa I wonder if I don't see those Prime deals since I am already a member and they are just to entice new people? Amazon is very good at website manipulation so I wouldn't be surprised.
@get2sammyb this headline is everything! You have earned your credibility back from that line you made about B*withched the other day.
@rjejr they'll honor your all your prime benefits post membership. I just found that out as I let my alternate account lapse last week and the few things (including amiibo) still had their prime discounts when they shipped.
@Sir_JBizzle Thanks, that's good to know. I guess the bigger question is will even Amazon exist by the time Kingdom Hearts 3 ships.

@rjejr
Seems like if there is one studio that gets a pass to do what it wants, it's Naughty Dog so my guess would be when the game is ready, it'll be released. But I'd like to think even if it's ready in April that Sony wouldn't want to bury one of its other games. Ratchet & Clank isn't a niche sports franchise like MLB The Show, which will be out only month or so before Uncharted 4's current release date. R&C is a franchise that still has some life left in it, if it gets managed right.
why are there no 1TB bundles on the north american region? I want to get a PS4 for my B-day but would prefer a 1TB model
@DualWielding
That's an issue and it's compounded by the fact we still can't use external harddrives, in 2016...
@rjejr Nothing's probably sacred, but wouldn't the decision to make R&C a discounted title come down to Sony? Because if so, and if that's the reasoning it's not getting priority, then that's beyond stupid. It's like throwing away perfectly good food.
@DerMeister
To be fair, the game is more of a re-imaging of the original than a completely new game, so that's probably the reason for the budget pricing. But imo that's part of the appeal of this game. A return to the series roots for a more than reasonable price and with a movie that could actually be pretty decent. This should be a really easy sell but it won't be if Uncharted is in the way.
@Gamer83 That's very true. And I do agree that despite not being brand new, it's still something that would be great for PS4 owners. I've stated my frustrations about the poor planning by Sony, and how Uncharted's delay could hinder the game, so I'll just leave it at that.
@Gamer83 Do you think Sony is laying low on R&C b/c it's a movie tie-in, and movie tie-ins tend to be garbage? Not that I think this will be garbage, I'm a big R&C fan, but lets face it, most movie tie-ins are garbage and are perceived that way by most people. And didn't the HD version of R&C come out recently? Maybe Sony doesn't think it will sell too well, best to go all in ASAP on U4.
@rjejr
R&C isn't considered among the top of the genre anymore and games of its ilk aren't as well regarded today as back in 2002 when the series debuted but I think Sony hurt the franchise by releasing so many garbage spinoffs after A Crack in time. That downward spiral probably is the reason the game isn't getting much love from Sony.
Bundles with fighters should come with additional controller! Most people will probably play with their friends local multiplayer (at least that's what I do with all the fighting games?) seems like a missed opportunity not to include 2nd dualshock
@Gamer83 That makes sense, A4O and that tower defense game weren't top tier. Though I played A4O w/ my kids and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as the single player games either.
