At some point later this year, Europe and North America are getting their hands on a localisation of Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS-Force - a Vita action title that's stuffed with numerous playable suits from Japan's biggest mecha franchise. However, VS-Force isn't necessarily the Gundam game that many fans actually want to see make the journey overseas.
Gundam Breaker 3 is a PlayStation 4 and Vita release that focusses on Gunpla - models of mobile suits that are incredibly big business in Japan. In this 3D brawler, the goal is to smash your enemies to bits and take their parts so you can customise and enhance your own suit. It's got an original story, a colourful cast of characters, and it's supposed to be devilishly addictive.
If you haven't already caught on, this is the title that many mech-heads want brought West. Given publisher Bandai Namco's recent localisation track record, we have to imagine that an overseas release isn't out of the question - especially if the aforementioned Extreme VS-Force is deemed a success.
In any case, you can check out 60 seconds worth of Vita gameplay in the video that we've embedded. Do you want Gundam Breaker 3 to rocket westwards? Show off your Gunpla in the comments section below.

Can we get a physical version of VS-force first?
the fun part of this game is customise ur own Gundam. But in order to do that, we need to play the must less exciting part: grind for the components...
Is Gunda Breaker 3 single player only? I was disappointed PS3 Godzilla was single player only, then PS4 Godzilla 2 player online only, DQ Heros is single player only, DQ Builders is single player - not sure how that is even possible looking as it does like a Minecraft clone.
I know some games are just meant to be single player, like JRPG and platformers, but some games - Minecraft clones, fighting games - I expect to be mutliplayer, yet for the all the PS4's power what to me are obvious multiplayer games seem to be going the single player route.
Reminded me how I really want another Zone of the Enders!
I want to play Virtua On after looking at this.
@rjejr If the first Gundam Breakers is any indication, there is online co-op multiplayer.
I have the first one and it's really great. I never got to play the second one, but a friend of mine who has it says that it does a few things a bit better (like being able to level up parts instead of farming for better ones).
@RadoGoji Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it for my kids then should it make its way west.
Yes, I have wanted localizations of any of the Gundam Breaker games for the last few years. Day one if it happens, not as interested in VS-Force.
Of course we want this to come to the West! More good vita games please!
Yes gundam breaker has to be one of the best gundam game series out there.
Wish they'd put out an english version of gundam battle operation. But not like next , that was garbage...
