A week of experimentation concludes with something very familiar – it's WAYP time. For those of you who are near – we could probably use a recap every over 100 issues – this is the article where we all come together to discuss what we're planning to play over the course of the weekend. Are you sitting comfortably? Then let's begin.
Sammy Barker, Editor
I'm planning to nibble on a veritable buffet of gaming goodies this weekend. Hitman Go, Sniper Elite 3, Heavy Rain, and Broforce are all on my agenda. I doubt I'll play much of any of them, but collectively I'm hoping to get a good few hours with my PS4 in.
Alex Stinton, Reviewer
I finally did it. After 62 hours of game time, I finished Yakuza 5. So, what's next? A short title that could be completed in an afternoon, maybe? No! This weekend I start Xenoblade Chronicles X. Oh, and of course I'll be playing more SMITE.
Joey Thurmond, Reviewer
Now that I'm almost done with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, it's time to pack some pure testosterone in my life with Broforce, which I'll be reviewing this weekend as well. After I'm through with that, I'll be "Raiden" my way through Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It's the last game I need to play through in the main series, and I can't wait to see what brand of crazy, off-the-wall nonsense awaits me with all the cyborgs, nanomachines, and whatnot.
Sam Brooke, Reviewer
As for this weekend, I'll be "liberating" the world via a mixture of explosions, blood, and testosterone in Broforce, while also paying back my debt to society by fighting some fires in Flame Over. Perhaps I'll throw in some Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, too, and the usual weekly dosage of good old fashioned Rocket League.
Simon Fitzgerald, Reviewer
This weekend I've really got to stop playing all these silly games and get back to the important stuff IRL. If you think that stands for "in real life" you're wrong. It actually means "in Rocket League".
Stephen Tailby, Reviewer
Now that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been delayed to the middle of May, I've got plenty of time to finish off the Nathan Drake Collection, and this weekend seems a good place to embark on the third and final remastered adventure. Elsewhere, I'll be kicking some Nevi butt in Bluepoint's purrfect remaster of Gravity Rush, and getting to grips with Gunscape – look out for my review next week.
Victor Nowogurski, Moderator
This weekend I will be pulling a page out of Alex's book: SMITE. Been looking forward to checking out this game. Also, I'll be playing a bit of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Out with it, then… What are you playing this weekend? Plot out your full itinerary in the comments section below.

Uncharted 4 Multiplayer beta and Never Alone,
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright
Jstars victory on psvita. Going for the platinum and it ain't all that fun at the moment, since I already beat the story mode.
Played through and completed wolfenstien and uncharted 2 this week, tried out galak-z but even though I'm a long time shmup fan I can't seem to get into this. The presentation is faultless, just that momentum based movement, hopefully dariusburst will drop further in price to help fill that void. I picked up soldner x2 for the vita in the sale which seams pretty great so far, so going to try and progress in this, and maybe some black ops 3 with friends.
Dragon Quest Heroes
That IRL joke was awesome , well hopefully i'll finish uncharted 3 and the evil within
Trying to finish Dark Souls in time for DS3. Just need to finish two more bosses then I'm done.
Since I got all the tour stars on Drive Club Bikes I figured I might as well get the next best thing so got a new toy today:

I'll also be playing more of the fantastic Bravely Second!
I got The Division in the post this morning but it seems I can't play it until the 8th so I'll be continuing my quest for rare Gwent cards.
I saw the new trailer for the Ghostbusters movie, so I'm going to dust off Ghostbusters: The video game. That game is tons of fun. I'll play some Pokemon Yellow too. And hope to get in DCUO with friends.
@Rogue76 The PS3 one? I really liked that game, too.
@Illusionistt I'm glad someone appreciates my humour!
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi You seem to be the only one who got bored. Negative Nancy
Uncharted 4 multiplayer and Persona 4 golden.
Fallout 4 and Jedi Power Battles
@kyleforrester87 Nice! Im not into bikes having fallen off a CR80 when I was 15. That would literally kill me!
Im trying to Platinum Lego Marvel - its such a chore collecting mini kits.
Then back onto Disgaea 5 to play some of the 6th world. The Chara sub world is pretty cool.
My Life is Strange at the moment and when i finish it, I will go all Primal! OURG!!
I'll be playing more SMITE which I'm really liking, more Fifa 15 (first Fifa game I've bought for a while, looking to find out what all the fuss is about with Pro Clubs) and perhaps a dashing of Rocket League
I'm getting Ready for Uncharted 4 by finally getting round to the Uncharted Collection and specifically number 2 this weekend and it's just as amazing as I remember.
@themcnoisy Thanks Yeah I've had a few spills in the past, I intend on riding this very carefully...
@kyleforrester87 Sweet bike. I'll give you props just for turning it correctly, because I suck with bikes.
@DrJoeystein I've been playing Rising all week, so take it from me when I say you're in for a treat. It's admittedly on the short side, but the gameplay is so fun.
Dark Souls II on PS4, USFIV on PS4 and a cheeky bit of Twilight Princess HD on WiiU.
Fallout 4 though I am also tempted to purchase Firewatch.
UPDATE: Just uncharted beta. Nothing else!
I'm working all weekend but hopefully I'll try a bit if uncharted beta or sone dying light the following
At level 20 in my third play through of the Witcher 3 (little bit of Rocket League as well).
DigimonStory: Cyber Sleuth, Dragon's Crown and Grid 2. Get at me if you wanna play co-op in Dragon's Crown!
Probably a mixture of Digimon and Pokemon, I reckon.
I just started arkham knight last night. Don't know why but the opening hour just felt a little less organized than the other entries. And something seems a little off about Kevin convoys voice. I also feel like it hasn't done a great job easing me back into an arkham game (haven't played one since arkham city came out - October 2011?) I'm hoping the game turns around.
Phantom pain, and maybe Uncharted 4 beta, if i get tired of sneaking around.
Just playing some Pokemon Yellow. Just got my 3rd badge. The nostalgia is strong with this one...
Nintendo 3DS - Zen Pinball 3D
PlayStation Portable - LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Ya know, the same old same old
Uncharted 4 Multiplayer, some Infamous: Second Son and New 'n' Tasty ;]
Uncharted 4 beta
But mostly trying to beat the challenge in The Witness.
Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for me.
SMITE, Broforce and Killzone Shadowfall.
Trying to finally finish off P4:G on the vita. Man, it's good! I know that it's been out for years and everyone already knows this, but I think it's one of the finest RPGs I've ever played.
I'll also hopefully get to play a bit of Far Cry Primal. My brother was kind enough to pre-order it for me as a birthday present last year, and I'm liking what I've played so far! Severely underrated setting, I think.
Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC. I'm really enjoying it. Anyone that enjoyed the last one should pick it up when it hit's PS4.
Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (and weekly DLC maps)
These two games have consumed my life both at home and at work (the wonder of handhelds, gotta love it)
Shadow of Mordor and Fire Emblem
I am ripping my way through Gat Outta Hell. Almost done with main story then some clean up for the plat. Working Saturday and Sunday this weekend though will slow me down in the hunt for platinum 29 for sure.
The Witness and Gravity Rush Remastered. Almost done with both of them, I think. Also played some Broforce. Might play some classic Roller Coaster Tycoon today too, since I bought it recently on Steam.
Ps4- Going for platinum on One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and some Hitman Beta.
Vita- Persona 4 Golden
3DS- Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate all games are time eaters...
Hoping to complete dragon quest hero on the ps4. An a few more levels off sound shapes on the ps vita.
@Unashamed_116 Dude, you will never ever get enough. Played persona 3 a couple of times and now for my 5 th playthrough of P4G
PS4 - Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
PS3 - Yakuza 5
Xbox One - Forza Motorsport 6
Some more Assassin's Creed Syndicate, I can't get enough of this game, and FF7.
Finally got round to downloading and playing Broforce and Galak-Z and wasn't too impressed - I remember playing games like Broforce in the Eighties but they were considered cutting edge back then.
The Witcher 3; After last weeks frustration and learning the importance of meditation and crafting my trip around Velan is now more enjoyable!
PC - Dying Light The Following & The Witness
XOne - Forza Motorsport 6
I'm in the airport right now so my ps4 won't see any action for 2 weeks! Though I completed uncharted 3 yesterday which was an excellent game! I'll be playing Mario and Luigi paper jam on my 3ds in the meantime!
Had a crack at the Uncharted 4 beta, still solid stuff
Had a few matches on wwe2k15 career
Started SOMA all very weird
Finished part 1 of Uncharted collection and well on my way to finish part 2, what an awesome game, now I know what the hype was about. Will finish all 3 well before Thief's End comes out. I can't believe I am saying this but I might preorder it...
I just finished The Nathan Drake Collection so this weekend I'll be jumping into some more Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. Almost finished with Mario & Luigi Paper Jam on 3DS, and just started Guacamelee for PS4 (even though I've played it on Vita already). Might start Uncharted Golden Abyss for Vita. Kind of in a gaming lull until Uncharted 4 drops in May, tried to play Killzone Shadow fall but the campaign just didn't interest me really. Broforce seems fun too but I'm gona wait & play that with my friends online. I'm always open to suggestions as well, lord knows I have enough in my backlog to last me years.
@Bananaman678 I'm almost done with Paper Jam it's pretty good. A tad repetitive with collecting of paper toads but the battle system is really fun & the story is pretty funny. hope you enjoy it as much as I am
I've been thoroughly enjoying the stone age in Far Cry Primal. It's a very unique game even if it feels familiar. Where else can you sneek up on a cave man and thow a spear at him!
Was playing Tearaway Unfolded. Is criminal how poorly that game has sold
I spent my weekend in Harran, jumping and dying.
@Dodoo I think I'll give it a try since it's € 20 now. Can you tell me anything about difficulties and replayability?
@andreoni79 Good man, definitely worth picking up especially as you say it's now so cheap!
The game itself is not that hard. I'm not 100% sure but don't think there are any difficulty settings either, if I remember rightly.
I'm only half way through but if the 2nd half is similar to the Vita game then there are some tough areas towards the end of the game but nothing too taxing, especially if you are good at platformers...
Replayability comes in the form of going back to areas collecting items you didn't find before. There's quite a lot to find as to get platinum trophy you will need to gather all hidden red and blue presents, photograph all papercraft and kill every single enemy in the game.
It's not the biggest or most challenging game, but it's a joy to play as it's so creative and refreshing as it's unlike many other titles - almost like a Nintendo game on PS4!
@Dodoo Thanks! I heard the game was a bit too easy and on the short side, but with that art style and collectables I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Your last sentence confirmed what I was thinking, because I had a Yarn Yoshi feeling for this.
