In case you missed all the chest-thumping on social media, the 2016 BAFTA Game Awards were held earlier tonight. Fallout 4, Bethesda's latest open world blockbuster, staggered out of the nuclear haze clutching the show's most prestigious award - probably much to the disappointment of editor Sammy Barker, who'll no doubt by rummaging into the comments section to complain very soon.
Fallout 4 pushed aside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Rocket League, Life Is Strange, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture to get its hands on the Best Game award. The Chinese Room's eerie walk-'em-up didn't stroll away empty handed, however, as it snagged best Audio and best Music
Elsewhere, PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne deservedly took away the award for best Game Design, Rocket League scored best Multiplayer, best Sports, and best Family game, and Life Is Strange managed to nab best Story. Until Dawn, meanwhile, was crowned best Original Property, but lost to Batman: Arkham Knight when it came to best British Game award. Oh, and SMITE master/resident reviewer Alex Stinton will be happy to know that his favourite MOBA emerged with the awkwardly named AMD eSports Audience Award.
So, do you agree with these winners? Tell us how you'd have done things better in the comments section below.

I wouldn't say best game but its a bloody good one
Bloody disgrace that The Witcher 3 was snubbed in every category!
Fallout 4 is certainly nothing special - its basically Fallout 3 with clunky construction bolted on!!
Well done, my favourite game of 2015. I think they probably all deserved what they got with the exception of Arkham Knight, I just couldn't be bothered with it, racing some daft track underground as a pointless side mission. Turned me right off.
Bloodborne not even considered? The Witcher 3 getting no awards? Fallout 4 is getting awards that IMHO it really doesn't deserve.
Having completed Fallout 4 twice, and The Witcher 3, three times........The Witcher 3 is the superior title. Now, without a doubt, Fallout 4 is still an amazing game, it does a lot right, and I would consider it in my top 5, if not top 3 of PS4 games.........but......
Fallout 4 pales in comparison when it comes to writing, quest design, characters, and dialogue.
The Witcher 3 is not only GOTY but game of this gen so far.
Rocket League isn't family friendly. My son beat me online so he hasn't been allowed to play it since.
I'm really not happy fallout 4 has got best game. Its full of little bugs and glitches, what kind of message is that sending out to other developers? Its good fun gameplay wise with tons of depth, but outside of the menu screens its nothing ground breaking. In fact I'm struggling to remember anything about it passed the wife getting shot in the vault at the start. The AI is weak, the frame rates plummet in places, the story is garbage. Goty material right there.
The Witcher 3 has been robbed! Fallout 4 is good, but The Witcher 3 is superb. Best game I've played in the last decade.
Fallout 4 is dogmeat for the white wolf.
I enjoyed Fallout 3, fun story. Found Fallout 4 a bit boring to be honest. Definitely not the game of the year by a long way. Witcher 3 and Bloodborne are much more deserving of the award.
Didn't love Witcher 3 but it's head and shoulders over Fallout 4. Of course Bloodborne beats both.
Hmmm, currently on my first go through of Fallout 4, and while it is sucking me in, and is definitely a great game, I don't feel like there's anything particularly special about it yet - as mentioned by @BAMozzy, it's just too similar to Fallout 3, I feel like I've seen it all before. Except that so far this time I've not seen any locations that hold a candle to some of the cool stuff we saw in previous Fallouts.
Granted, I'm only 11 hours in (just hit Diamond City), so I guess there's plenty of time yet for it to surprise me with something fresh, but so far it hasn't impressed me as much as things like The Witcher and BB.
I love Fallout 4, but it has neither the best mechanics (MGS V) , the best "artistic approach" (Rapture), or perhaps the best writing/story/characters (W3) out of the games I've played on the shortlist.
@SteveButler2210
I found the same, but only summed it up simply to a friend that the writing/story/ RPG aspects have regressed at the improvement to mechanics and set pieces, map and physics.
Still sank a heck of a lot of hours into it, but essentially I was playing Shooty Minecraft at the end, because I wasn't taken with any of the story choices on offer.
Fallout 4 is a great game however, it just lacks the same feeling i got from fallout 3 and skyrim. Im not big on 3rd person views i prefer 1st person but witcher 3 blew me away such a solid game all round and in my personal opinion hands down game of the year. Also i think fallout has played it safe stuck to what its goot at (glitches and all) i thought they would have went deeper like if you killed someone for no reason instead of everyone attacking you his son would try and hunt you down in the wilderness for killing his father or you could adopt a baby or buy a house and rent it out or something just completly crazy. Must say tho the town builder is a big thing and hats of to them for that.
