Alex Stinton's dirty little secret SMITE will launch officially on the PlayStation 4 from 31st May, after a pretty prolonged period of beta testing. The action MOBA has been available for free from the PlayStation Store for some time now, but Hi-Rez Studios has been frequently updating it in the interim. Just a few of the features you can expect in the "release" version include a doubled framerate, Trophy support, and a handful of new Gods and game modes.
If you're not familiar with the title, then our resident expert has been streaming the release for a while now, and he even recently put together some tips for your perusal. We're wilfully informed that if you're yet to really understand the MOBA genre, then this is the title that will reel you in. Are there any fans other than Stinton out there? Smite us in the comments section below.

I thought it was out already as it has a platinum trophy, I got some trophies on it today. Amazingly people already have the platinum going by the trophy %, & it'll also be a very time consuming to get the platinum I'll get it, here hopes Paragon also get a platinum trophy.
@banacheck Its been in beta
@SKC_Diamond
I know I was playing the Beta, I thought it was already officially released with it now having trophies as Betas don't have trophies.
Terrible timing for this release with Battleborn and Overwatch coming out this month. Baffling timing.
Wasn't it already released???
Oh well doesn't matter I have Overwatch for my online multiplayer fix.
i got the founders pack & been playing it nearly every day great game.
The gods give it a different flavour. Also good team game as gung ho heroes usually get wiped out quickly
Thank god I'll be able to play the full version of the game that isn't as good as the beta of Paragon. I've been really looking forward to it
