We're going to be honest: we don't really know what this is all about, but we're going to try and explain it to you anyway, so don't be too judgemental. Right, so Final Fantasy XV is launching on PlayStation 4 on the 30th September - we've known that for a while - and it's got a reasonably cool E3 2016 gameplay trailer which we've embedded, but that's only part of this story.
Watch past the already-revealed release date and you'll delve into the PlayStation VR portion of the video. The Final Fantasy XV VR Experience will apparently allow you to play as Prompto, the pistol wielding party member, as you awkwardly blast a behemoth. It's unclear whether this is actually part of the game, or whether it's some sort of playable tech demo. We assume the latter, but we'll need confirmation.
Oh, and it looks like you can take a ride in first-person alongside Cindy, too, which we guess is pretty swell. What do you make of all this? See through the eyes of a dweeb in the comments section below.

the trailer is cool! the vr part is WTF
Forget about FFXV for VR, all Square Enix should focus on currently is making the game (gameplay especially) great.
The VR game for FFXV is a joke
VR dates with Cindy 😉
Yeah, the presentation of this particular segment was broken. Made little sense to me.
Back when the PS Move came out, some games (like Sly) had little PS Move mini games included (but the actual game was not PS Move capable) which seemed like a deceitful way for them to put the PS Move logo on the box. This reminds me of that same tactic.
Virtual Girlfriend simulator mini game for F, yep sound weird.
Yeah, the FF15 VR part seemed so much like a cheap tack on. Like a last minute idea and then tossed together in a salad bowl to make it on time.
